For those of us who remember the Blue Brothers , early 80's New Wave and like to rock the skinny ties, these are great. I've gotten a few compliments on them. They're 100% silk and have 2 loops in back to keep the back portion in place. I'm 5'10" and the length is good for those 6'0" easily. Colours are exactly as advertised and they haven't frayed to date and I've worn them a few times.

I bought this skinny black tie for my son's grade 7 graduation ceremony - he'll be 13 years old in a couple of months (and I figured a skinny tie would look better on a young person rather than a regular width tie). The tie came in a nice black box - I made sure to pay attention to the width when I was looking at a variety of ties, and it was what I expected. It's on the shinier side (because it's satin) for those that might not want a sheen on the material - I was in a rush to purchase a black tie, so it's fine. But if I had more time to shop, I would prefer the material to not be shiny (matted instead); but I'm still giving it a 5-star rating because it was exactly as described online.
