Scratch the itch with these 27 beloved animated shorts, which find your favorite cool cat clawing his way out of trouble as he joins the army, builds a motorcycle, flies a jet and even herds cattle out west! Review: Love it. Other versions are available. - My 7 year old grandson has decided he really likes Pink Panther cartoons. This was after he resisted watching any at all. I had volumes 1 and 3 , and got 2 and 4 of the MGM release. Each one has about 27 episodes and is a little short of 3 hours long. The prices were reasonable. According to Wikipedia, there were 124 cartoon in all (maybe plus a Christmas special?). A little over 100 are included in these 4 DVDs. Not sure about the other 20. MGM created 4 more volumes, but I can't find exactly what is on them. They are much much shorter. And expensive. Not worth it to me. They must be rare, since people want so much money for them. Apparently 2 other companies released sets, some of which include all 124. And they range from expensive to extremely expensive. Since I already have MGM volumes 1 though 4, I'm not going to spend a LOT of money to either duplicate most of the episodes, or discover by trial-and-error what the other volumes might include. The MGM have French, Spanish, and Portuguese subtitles, and English captions. Most of the episodes have no dialog, but some have full dialog or narration. I didn't remember any dialog from watching them myself, in my youth. I don't know about the subtitles on the other releases. But, by the time you add the cost for the first 4 volumes of MGM, you might be able to get all 124 from one of the other releasing companies. Keep in mind, these were made 50 years, or so, ago. They are more violent than current standards. Characters are frequently whacking each other. The "little man" is often shooting his rifle. Getting shot (unrealistically) amounts to getting scorched. But comparable to Road Runner. Just so you know what to expect. Review: My step-grandsons love it - After watching pink panther vol. 1 every time they visit, they were thrilled there was another pink panther dvd to watch. 4 boys, ages 2, 4, 5 & 6, all laughed & enjoyed watching the entire dvd. Even though it's music (good music) & no one's talking, they wanted everyone to be quiet so they could watch & listen. They do this with the first Pink Panther dvd too. I personally think volume one is slightly better than volume two but I'm happy the kids love it. I'm not sure why only the boys watch Pink Panther cartoons at our house: maybe because the step-granddaughters are too busy playing with Barbies upstairs to stop & watch Pink Panther. No biggie. Everyone's having fun. Anyway, these cartoons I remember from my childhood, so I'm happy they are being enjoyed. I definitely noticed the boys like to laugh out loud a lot. They want everyone to be quiet & yet they're the ones making the noise. :D I think this dvd is 2 1/2 hours or close to it. The boys didn't sit still for the entire time: after about an hour, they were multi-tasking by playing with toys on the floor while still watching. They just had to see the entire dvd & that they did. Next time they came over to visit (about a week later), they wanted to watch it again but they also wanted to play wii games so they had to make a decision to play awhile & then watch this awhile. Highly recommend to all those Pink Panther fans who already have volume one & want to see volume two. (I admit after reading some of the reviews here, I almost didn't buy it but I'm glad I took the chance as it's good).

Into the Pink
My grandson loves the antics of that rascal Pin Panther. The sound of his giggles are contagious! I’ve never bought previously owned items before on here, but I have to say, I was pleasantly impressed! Thank you!

Love it watched it twice already, trying to collect all volumes
who else but the pink panther can grab and hold your attention, as he innocently and sometimes not so innocently creates mayhem on others. Love it have volumes 1 and 2, still waiting on volume 3.

Pink Panther Collection Vol. II
This is an excellent addition to the first volume and my son loves it. I have yet to see the entire disk but he is very happy with it. There are some real claasics here and only one episode (thus far) was tainted with a laugh track but there may be more. A great buy and shipping was an absolute breeze.

Classic Pink Panther
Lots and lots of good old Pink Panther cartoons. Had to get this DVD so I could introduce the new generation to the Pink Panther. My 4-year-old grandson likes to watch these and I can remember my son when he was about 9 falling out of his seat laughing when the airline showed Pink Panther episodes on a long transatlantic flight. I love the way the Panther takes that little hop step when he walks to the music that is permanently etched on my brain. Duh dum duh dum, duh dum, duh dum duh dum da dum. . .
