Understanding Nursing Research: Building an Evidence-Based Practice 6th Edition

I absolutely love that this book was online. It made it so much easier to find things. When I couldn’t understand a certain point on my school material I just typed a keyword in and found it.I have no complaints about this book. It’s a basic college textbook. If you like the subject or not, it does a decent job breaking down the material. Each chapter also provides a mini research paper and it breaks down the parts. Use these examples for your class to learn the material!!!I highly recommend this book and for sure suggest renting the online version. You won’t regret it.

Used this book this semester and I think the layout is nice. Everything is well defined and easy to look through. When I took my open book test it was easy to use and I could find what I needed well.

It is a very good book for understanding research. However, if you want to learn how to do your own research (which we had to in our nursing program) where this book is a textbook, I'd urge you to pick up a second book that goes more into running tests, understanding the actual statistical tools, etc. While this book covered that stuff, it was very concise so don't use this book alone to run a nursing research project.

The book was required by my BSN program at the university of Texas Arlington. The book is straight forward and gives you all the information needed to pass the class.

Book is just as described, and the condition was great. Arrived on time. Content is good and valuable for my class, though not particularly interesting.

I purchased my book used and it was in great condition; the seller sent it just in time for my research class. The textbook itself is mediocre and does not provide enough examples to clearly define the research terminology. I did well in the course not because of this book, but because I have another research based degree. The core concepts can be difficult to understand because the authors do not do a good job of explaining them. I had hoped to keep this book, and use it as a reference, but I have decided to sale it.

It came in perfect condition at a good price. This was the first time I've bought a textbook off amazon but I'm glad I did!

This book is easy to read. Chapters are color coded for easy access. Nice glossary.
