Pocket Anatomy and Physiology

I bought one for my son that is now a CNA. A co-worker saw it and so I bought one for her. It's light, small and can fit in a purse, glove box, backpack, etc. The pictures are in color and concise with enough information that if you are in a situation where you are waiting, rather than pull out your cell phone, take out this pocket guide instead. You can't go wrong with this. The pages are not flimsy. They won't tear without effort. It's a must have for anyone that is involved in the medical field or just even if you are curious and would like to learn a little bit more.

I highly recommend this book if you are the one that is constantly commuting or traveling. I'm a college student and I commute from home to school and to work almost everyday so I don't have time to carry a big heavy textbook around and read it. This book is one the best investment I made for a anatomy course I'm taking and a EMT course. I would just skim through the book when I'm on the train/bus. Everything is highly detailed. Like there's one section of the books for the vascular system, the muscle system, specific bones. I love love love this book. It's pocket size so you can put it in your jacket or book bag without any hassle.

For all students or clinicians or otherwise who want a quick, clear, and easily accessible anatomy picture book look no further. This item is small (fits in my doctor's bag), user friendly, and is the best anatomy buy. That's saying a lot because in my lifetime I took a full year of anatomy 3 times (hs, college, medical school).Now don't expect ANY book to be the end-all be-all because honey you shall be sorely disappointed. It's like searching for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow ya know?So if you keep your expectations real and treat the book with respect (don't throw it around, trash it) you will not regret this buy!

I am officially addicted to this pocket guide. This guide was recommended by my A&P professor and I am learning better with this pocket guide then I was with our text book. The illustrations are amazing and the entire pocket guide is clear cut and straight to the point. If you are going thru A&P or in the medical field and need to brush up on A&P then this is the pocket guide for you. It is also handy with it being a pocket guide with being able to pull it out anywhere instead of carrying a full size text book with you.

This has been extremely helpful for my anatomy class. It's a great way to take your studying with you when you are going out but don't want to carry much. I look at it at stoplights, on the treadmill, when waiting in line. Good quality binding and drawings. Accurate labels. Even helpful blurbs about each system. I also recommend purchasing a photographic atlas so you can study real cadavers when you aren't in lab.

It had some wrong information and it was missing some bony landmarks, but the section that could use the most improvement is the muscles section. Overall, it's been useful for quickly looking up muscles or origins/insertions. I also accidentally dropped water on it and nothing happened, by some miracle. I just dried the pages and they were good as new.

Superbly edited and beautifully illustrated. Great not only for those in the nursing profession but for anyone interested in the human anatomy. Small enough to be carried on an airplane and read on a long flight.

Good reference book however the cover was very scratched

Working in an urgent care centre makes this book an essential piece of kit. Love it.
