Beautiful mic
It’s a kick ass ribbon. I love it on whatever I use it on. Shaves off that crackly high end just like you need. Like an old gf that still likes you enough to invite you over late. Familiar, comfortable and easy. This one won’t start asking about daylight activities at some unfortunate point. It’s a little pricey, sure. I’d put this over any condenser mic in its price range. It’s just more sophisticated, for a lack of a better term. It’s a dual side address, cardioid pattern: so backside reflected sound is important. There is no switch to switch patterns. It’s kinda a little off putting initially, but I keep going to it and find myself mixing it in more and louder than other mics. It FEELS great and looks great too. The mic “clip” is a great design. The mic threads into the mic holder which threads onto a standard mic stand. The adjustment screws on the mic holder are solid, heavy and feel very high quality. Won’t give future problems me thinks.

Among the best ribbon mics out there.
Been using this primarily for female vocals with great success. Very versatile and well built. No worries about delicate handling. Royer is a great made-in-USA company. I'll be buying more.

Amazing and Affordable Ribbon Mic
This mic is great. High SPL, durable design and it's a Royer ribbon. We use it on guitar cabs mainly and haven't been disappointed.

This Mike is so exceptional that should be a $1500 Mic easily! Royer knows what they’re doing and they make great Mics! I have a matched pair of wire 121s and OMG I just can’t ask for anything better
