Schaum's Outline of Bookkeeping and Accounting, Fourth Edition

A very useful book. It really helped me to understand the basic of Bookkeeping to Accounting. Simple and easy to understand from lower problems to strong ones. I which you could write one in VAT/TAX???? That would be useful. And let me know if you did. I would be glad to buy one. Thank you for your work.

Excellent Book!

I'm so glad I bought this book. I needed it and it was well worth it. I was disappointed in the delivery. It took almost 7 days to ship when it was coming from the same State I live in. The bonus in this book was the entry's explanation for the accounting software "Peachtree". This is the same software my account uses and I am somewhat familiar with so this book will help me greatly.

This was recommend to go along with the BBL 3.0 program I’m in. I didn’t buy it at first but wanted something I could practice bookkeeping with without looking at a screen. I’ve only done the first section and it’s been so helpful for my mind to start actually grasping the concepts. I believe professional bookkeepers and accountant see the equation written out in their mind before doing it in software so this is the practice I need.

I ordered this book as a refresher and am so pleased. I learn by doing not just reading something and this book has plenty of problems for me to do. I recommend this book to anyone who needs refreshing or needs extra help with accounting classes. It is a very good learning tool. Also, it arrived on time and in very good condition.

Great basic book like all of the outline series! The only issue is in the future I will avoid Kindle version. Because of the reformatting ability, it makes the text/equations appear funny. Check before buying to make sure you like the Kindle edition and the reformatting. It does make it more difficult to read especially for texts with equations and tables!

love the book. it has problems and solutions. it is a more practical approach than the Accounting for dummies 9 in 1 book (which focused more on theories than problems) only rated 3 because the book i got had a huge fold throughout the first 50 pages. would be nicer if the solutions were on the last pages than directly below that way i couldn't see the answers immediately.
