Q: Can this probe be used as Axillary thermometer?

This units fits the SureTemp electronic thermometer which has multiple assessment site choices: oral, axillary, and rectal. The location to obtain the temperature must match the route of assessment to be accurate. The location can be set by pressing the "human-icon" button until the chosen placement appears on the read-out screen. Please note: axillary temperature assessment takes the longest of the three routes and has a greater risk to be inaccurate if the probe was placed inaccurately.

Q: Will this work in Model 690 or just 692?

This probe works with both model #690 and model #692.
