Perfect fit for my space, perfect for my 5 kids. Well built teams nice quality. It did take me more than 3 hrs to put together and I did accidentally put the base on backward and have to turn it around. Picture was a little deceiving in instruction book but just make sure you put the grooves in the back (this is probably common sense but I don't do the building usually but I am a proud mom that I was able to put this together all by myself). It's perfect fit for my hallway space. I did use an Allen wrench from a different kit that was better but I am very happy with this unit! I purchased the add on bins to fit this unit. Update: several years later, and growing kids, these cubbies have still held up well and are still well loved and used. I did have to replace the hooks after several years as they began to bend and break after years of use. I reinforced the hooks with wooden bracing. I still give these cubbies 5 stars as I couldn't have an organized mud room without them. I found replacement heavy duty hooks at my local hardware store.

I have 4 kids under age 5 and was constantly bothered by their coats and shoes being lost all over the house. This has been fantastic for organizing all their hats, gloves, shoes, boots, coats, jackets, backpacks, etc. It has held up very well despite being packed with more than I ever expected to fit in it. The kids know as soon as they walk in the door to go hang up their coats and backpacks and to put their shoes in their cubbies. I anticipate being able to use this for at least 10 years to come. It's incredibly sturdy and well-made. My husband assembled it in less than an hour and the directions were very clear.

Wow, I'm going to gush about these cubbies! Everything is great. The wood was higher quality than I expected. Everything is smooth, the edges are nicely rounded. The assembly was easy to manage. There is an allen wrench included for most of the hardware, and a screwdriver is the only other thing you need. The hardware is high quality, and better than if I built these myself. The instructions were adequate, large pictures and well labeled. My mechanical engineer husband changed the order of assembly to suit himself, but it would have worked their way too. I'm pleased with this purchase. I had a personal issue with reading the tape measure, apparently, because I thought I'd have a few inches to spare. Instead, I guess we'll put some wood blocks underneath, and we now have another shelf area!

These are almost half the price of cubbies I've seen sold by childcare supply websites & catalogs. With FREE shipping! Warning though- they are not assembled. I ordered 2 sets and my partner & I assembled the first set in about an hour & half during rest time. The 2nd set we did after the children left in under an hour. Assembly is akin to IKEA furniture. Each set of cubbies will arrive in 2 boxes. They are study, stunning & solid quality. The kids & their parents are all really excited about them.

With our 5th on the way, our mud room needed an organizer, and this pretty much did it. Everyone (2-6 years of age) can put their coats/hats/shoes/mittens/and anything else away on their own. Nothing on the floor. My husband and I put it together in a couple of hours. Very straight forward. All the holes were where the directions said and no problems with the hardware. The only snafu came with the back panel needing to be slid in before screwing in the side panels. It was late, but I can see how it can be over looked with how the directions were written. Just remember to be double sure which is front-facing before you start screwing things in place. We had to undo and redo 1-2 times. Now that it is done, it is very very satisfactory.
