Pig the Fibber (Pig the Pug)

These Pig the Pug books are a huge hit with my grandson! He absolutely loves them, and it’s always a special treat when he gets a new one. I started with one for Valentine's Day and have continued picking up others themed around holidays, as well as a few in between. He’s learning to read but still loves when Mimi and Mom read to him. The books are funny, clean, and offer great life lessons, making them both entertaining and educational. Highly recommend for any young reader!

Fun content, beautiful artistry, silly stories, each page flows and rhymes. My son loves this entire series, I wish there were more. My only concern is that in each book, Pug gets seriously injured. Not sure that’s appropriate for the age group but my son enjoys it.

My granddaughter loves all the Pig The Pug books. I have 2 sets, one for our house and one for her home.

We really enjoy Pig the Pug stories. They are fun and engaging because of the rhyming. And my kids are definitely learning new words. But sometimes I get stuck on the fact that his negative actions are sometimes a little glorified because they obviously have to be mentioned first due to the basic plot progression the author uses throughout this series.

We absolutely love Pig the Pug books in our house. My four year old chooses them all the time to read and we all laugh at Pig’s antics. However, I have some mom friends who don’t appreciate the humor. Pig gets injured, farts, and is just badly behaved. My kid doesn’t see him as a role model and has not started telling fart jokes or anything- but if she did, I’d probably laugh. It’s a risk we are willing to take.

Hilarious book. My boys love it. As a teacher it's got great PSHE chat about it.

These books are my absolute favourite to read to our boys! Super easy to read and funny even for us adults! Always have a great lesson behind them. A must have for your little libraries!

You can't go wrong with any of these Pig the Pug books. They're hilarious and fun to read.
