Eagles Nest Outfitters ENO Sub6 Hammock

I wasn't sure this would prove to be that comfortable, I'm 6' 2" and 17 stone's, but it's strength and comfort is outstanding, I have no fears that it will fail in use. I liked it that much that I bought a second one so that I can carry it with me and use to take a relaxing break on the fly, good all round piece of kit.

I absolutely love hammocks and although this is certainly no Hennessy (which easily cost 3x - 4x as much), it is definitely a very good, extremely small and light weight product. I use this for camping but it could easily be used whilst just lazing in a park in summer. It's so small you can fit it in your pocket with space you spare. You can easily chuck this in your handbag or backpack and forget about it. Only problem is, like most non-asymmetrical hammocks is if you sit up it can become a bit of a balancing act to stay in! Once your tucked away in it, you'll be rocking yourself to sleep! :)

Nice quality and very light weight.

I haven't even been using this hammock for a month yet it has torn. Very disappointed as I'm average height and weight.Definitely do not recommend this product.

I can’t say enough good things about this hammock. It’s light, it’s sturdy, and it packs down nicely. I can easily fit the ENO ultralight set up in my sleeping bag compartment right next to the sleeping bag as well so no need to separate it all out.Be careful though, it’s meant to be ultra light not ultra durable so don’t let it hang where you’ll be scraping along things.

both ends were frayed and ENO didn't even acknowledge or offer to replace

I switched to this hammock from the standard single nest eno to save weight, I slept in it every night, I’m male 5’6’’ and 135 lbs. it’s not quite big enough for a diagonal lay, so I would set it up tighter than usual and sleep in it straight, it felt similar to a cot. I also tightened my underquilt up so it would wrap around me to keep the light out and keep the wind off my face. I didn’t baby it either, I slung it to handrails, fence posts, pavilion rafters and of course all types of trees.I finally fell through it my last night on the trail when my butt scraped a rock in the hundred mile wilderness. Needless to say I slept on a rock that night and still woke up refreshed.Don’t assume that the thin material can’t last on a long distance hike, as long as you make sure there are no briars, branches or other sharp objects below you to rub up against, it will keep serving you. The smallest rip or tear will quickly become catastrophic though if your weight is put on it. When I scraped that rock, i fell through with no warning. That’s my fault though, not the hammock’s, I am about to buy a replacement because I love this hammock so much. It’s a great option when weight matters most!

It is amazing product.Few suggestions, the rope of the bugnet is not helping you much cos is short so I needed to replace it, not a big deal, also the small little plastics to cole the hammek are very delicate and mines are broken already 5th time I use it. Still you can replace them with something else but the design they use on those are nice and so attractive. The rest is all fantastik and ok.
