OlarHike Tire Inflator Portable Air Compressor, with Premium Storage Case

What a pleasant surprise. I've had this item for about a week and have used it 5 times. If something changes, I will update this review. Unit is just a little bit larger than the usual inflators but it's build, feel, quality and operation is top tier. Easy to use. And it is FAST! Large readout that is easy to read and bright even in direct daylight. And it is fast. Charged unit to full battery indicator and inflated 2 29"x 3.25 bicycle tires from 25 to 40 pounds in under 5 minutes. Checking it with my other digital gauge confirmed pressure at 40.1psi. Then went to car to top off 4 tires from 32 to 37 pounds in 8min4sec for all 4 tires. Again right on the money. After doing the 2 bike tires and all 4 of the car tires, the battery indicator was still at 4 bars. Did a second car adding 4 PSI to each tire and still showing full charge. Some things to note: Unlike some other portable lighter pumps, this unit has metal cylinder, piston and linkage ... And a 2 year warranty. Only 2 caveats if I had a wish list: I wish the hose connected with a simple twist lock rather than the screw in type. The hose can be tricky to get started - the easiest way is to hold the unit upside down and let the hose hang straight down while you screw it in. Not a big deal. And it would be nice if it had a 12v option but I can't see me ever running out of juice as long as you keep it charged - I'm never going to be using it to fully inflate a tire along side the road. And of course you can recharge it with a cigarette plug adapter power supply or USB plug and a USB C connector in the car. Oh ... and not pictured in the description is a very nice zippered hard case (black with orange trim). Very pleased and highly recommended. You can't beat the price right now at $45.00. Just do it!

The instructions for using the OlarHike portable tire inflator (6000 (Large Capacity), Model No. TIC3V401) are very easy to read and understand, and the device is very easy to use and inflates car tires well. It takes no more than about 1 minute to inflate each of four regular car tires, the device automatically turns off once the pressure determined by you is reached, inflating four car tires takes no more than one battery bar (no more than 25% of the battery charge), and the device becomes only slightly warm to the hand holding it and does not get that noisy. The metal connection between the inflation hose and the device does become warm, but the orange rubber piece significantly reduces the warmth. Importantly, the end of the inflation hose which connects to the tire valve has a lever that you flip 90 degrees to the connector, which locks the connector of the inflation hose to the tire valve and prevents any air leakage during inflation.Fully recharging the device with the wall charger accompanying the iPhone 5S and with the charging cable accompanying the device takes only a few hours. If you forget to recharge the device at home, the device comes with a 12 V plug, which you can plug into the 12 V port/cigarette lighter in your car and use to recharge the device while the car engine is on.The device has a built-in flashlight, which may be useful in the dark.

I LOVE this tiny compressor! It works well for topping of tires, filling bike, mower, balls or whatever. It can do large jobs like airing up a truck tire, but it really excels at the small jobs. It’s small and compact so it’s easy to pack with you while traveling. It’s extremely convenient not having to mess with the bigger compressor, hoses and power cords. I was able to plug a motorcycle tire and inflate it with this while miles and miles away out on the trails. Absolute life saver.

There is nothing worse than low tire pressure when the temperature changes. That obnoxious light flashes on the dashboard telling you how low each of your tires is. The options are hunting down the nearest gas station with free air or settling for the one that requires you to whip out a credit card or dig for loose coins to pay for air. Paying for air. Seriously? So, I ordered this in. hopes of removing that stress from my life. It worked. You will need a charger adapter to plug into the wall as this doesn't come with one. It is also unlikely you have the cigarette lighter spot in your car these days to use the in-car charger. This is best for using at home before you leave the house.Warning: it does get hot. You can hold it in your hand or set it on the ground, but it does get hot so avoid touching the orange part. You will also need to let it cool down if you are doing more than 2 tires. This is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. The nice thing is taking the guesswork out of airing up the tires. At the gas station, you would need a tire pressure gauge to make sure you didn't over inflate or under inflate the tires. With this thing, you tell it how much air the tire needs to max out at (psi) and it stops there when it reaches the required amount.The cord is long enough for regular car tires, but if you're trying to do heavy duty truck tires, I would find a bigger product. This is great for smaller tires.It does come with a carrying case so you could take it with you in your car if you wanted. All in all, I'm pleased with this purchase and look forward to stress free mornings when the temp changes and causes my low pressure light to come on unexpectedly. A few minutes and I will be on my way. No stop at the gas station needed.

Loud, but I expected that. The bend in the nozzle made it a little tricky to get connected to one of my tires, but I was able to air up two of them with no trouble. Otherwise it did the trick and got me aired up enough to reach the tire place and get them aired up properly. Handy for the pressure drops when the weather changes. Came half-charged out of the box, and filled 2 tires on a half-charge. It comes with a car cigarette lighter adapter that was long enough to reach outside the car and a USB charger. When I got to the tire place, they checked the two I filled and the PSI was accurate and needed no additional air. I would give that a thumbs up.

I have used it once to fill a tire from 38 to 41.5. This was a seasonal fill as the weather is getting cold. Battery was full and the fill took about 4 minutes. After fill the battery still showed full. I found out why there is an orange collar around the hose. It gets hot from the compressor running.All in all It was easy to use. As received it was half charged and took about 3 hours to fully charge. I like the bag to keep the unit and parts in. I recommend this.

I must admit to being skeptical of this device based on its price compared to other devices. I was pleasantly surprised. The unit is easy to operate and relatively quiet. Simply turn the unit on, set the desired pressure, attach the air hose (an automobile tire in my case) and push the power button and it commences filling the tire. The device automatically turns off when the desired air pressure is reached. It works fairly fast (maybe a minute to fill a tire several pounds below the specified pressure). It can be charged via a USB connector or can be plugged into the cigarette socket in the car. I highly recommend.

Easy to use, charges pretty quickly, doesn't take up much space, so easy to carry. Have had it for a month, and works well so far.Pay attention to the chord end that connects to the device. It gets hot after extended use and they have a rubber protection which one can ignore. So be careful just about that. Which is why 4 stars instead of 5. Since I know it now, I wouldn't hesitate buying it again if I have to
