Oster HeatSoft Hand Mixer, One Size, gray

I really like Oster minor appliances, and this is not the exception. I like this mixer a lot, does the job 100%, powerful, the heat soften option is good for working thick doughs.Vendor needs to update the description as the model number they ship does not include the dough hooks and the whisker. Also the unit is 120V not 220V

I was in the market for another hand mixer because the Sunbeam which I've had for years is beginning to do some strange things and I do not want to pull out my Kitchenaid every time, so to Amazon I go. I was looking for a mixer with at least 250 watts, it did not have to have a lot of bells and whistles and I did not want to put a lot of money into it but to my surprise it was very hard trying to find one, the ratings play a big part in my purchase. I came across this Oster and saw how different it was, especially the heat function. To the naked eye it looks bulky and heavy and it's not, I used it today to mix up some Amish bread and I was surprised as to how light it felt and the attached compartment holder is large and holds the extra beaters and cord. I did not expect to pay this much for a hand mixer but so far I'm quite satisfied but as time goes and the more I use it I'm sure I will began to love it.

I bought this mixer after returning two others due to lack of power and poor quality. This one works great. It's a little heavy, but I love it. It has a great range of speeds. You can set it flat on the counter when adding ingredients which is awesome; no beaters in the way because you have to hang them over the bowl. I've only used the heating feature a couple of times, but it definitely works as advertised. It slowly warmed up cream cheese that I used to make a dip, and a mayonnaise mixture that didn't come out at first so I had to heat the eggs. Would definitely buy again!

1) Love the flat bottom, makes it very convenient to set down while mixing something. 2) Love the self storage feature. 3) The butter softening feature is quite nice, I think. I say I think, because I've never been able to use it for the following reason. I have tried and tried to not only insert but to keep the beaters in this mixer. As soon as you start to use the mixer, the beaters fall out. It's not really a mixer if you can't mix with it. I would also like to say that the biggest reason that I bought this hand mixer was because it came with a whisk. My previous hand mixer had one and after many years of use, sadly it finally broke and replacements were no longer available. The whisk with this mixer is so light weight and whimpy, it has a hard whisking eggs. Also sadly, I have given a grandchild my previous hand mixer and I miss it terribly. I unfortunately didn't discover these problems until it was too late to return. Very sad and very disappointing quality.

I love the mixer but it only came with beaters. Description states it comes with dough hooks and whisk too. I contacted the seller and waiting to hear back. It took awhile to get it worked out with Amazon that I need to contact the seller. If it had all the listed accessories I’d give it 5 stars.

I love this hand mixer. It is easy to hold and handle with smooth mixing. I also love the storage area.

I love the heat option! I don’t know how many times I forget to pull out butter and I’m still able to make the recipe because the heat softened it just right. Love this machine. This company has great customer service.

nice mixer with a case for storage. It is heavier than my old one but ok. I ordered this with the dough hook and wisk attachment and it did not arrive with the mixer. The mixer was in it's box with no Amazon package covering it and no other packaging so maybe it was taken in the post office but I can't imagine why someone would want just that. I contacted Amazon but was told can only return and replace. So I went on line and ordered the two extra items from a replacements part company instead of going thru a return. I am angry about this false advertising so that's the reason for the lower rating.

I love this mixer! I am always forgetting to take out the butter or cream cheese for baking and this mixer is great for this! I find it very sturdy and a bit heavier than my old mixer, but that's okay for the amount that I use a handheld mixer.

The wands are to short. Your food always get stuck in the grate. Not a fan!!!
