Delonghi Water Filter DLS C002 Pack (X2) for Delonghi Espresso and Bean to Cup Machines

I have used the Delongi water filters since I bought the system 6 1/2 years ago. They always seem to do the job even though we have soft water supply from Lake Michigan. I always think it’s good to have the filter in the machine. My machine started having a lot of trouble and making terrible noise so I called DeLonghi and they told me that it was probably an air bubble in the machinr. It was actually the filter because I descaled the system and it had the same awful sound until I removed the filter and just by luck I solved the problem. The reason I’m writing this review is not because the filter was a few dollars but because the person I was speaking to said that it was my responsibility. He was rude and implied the water filter was fine and that it was just hard water for my system. He just didn’t seem to care so I am writing a not so good review for the Delongi customer care team. I purchased through Amazon because I am a prime member and do not have to pay shipping costs. I guess this is one time that that did not work well for me.

The filter seems to work well, but the instructions for “priming” the filter do not indicate this might be difficult. The holes in the filter are so small that water does not easily flow from a faucet into the filter. This could result in a very long priming process.

Does as promised, filter and soften the water going into the maker. This worked really well on my medium hard water. Delivery was fine, packaging protected the filters, nothing to complain about from order,to delivery, to using it.

Abit pricy but an over all great product.If you use mineral water / filtered water it hold up around 4-6 months

Well, it fits my espresso machine, and we have really hard water here in Hawaii, so they said I needed it. How can I tell if it works as advertised, lol? I assume and pray it does.

They work well, which is the good news, the bad news is their price and the seemingly impossible recycling.I am now considering stopping using these and using a Brita jug to filter and soften the water first. At least their filters can (if you are lucky) be recycled.

Great product. I NEED coffee to get me going. So am very snobbish about the black stuff.These products keep my water filtered for my delongi coffee machine.I live in a hard water area so burn through them quite quickly. Last 2-3 months each.But would buy again. Maybe in larger quantities.
