Bona NordicSeal

We used it on old and new red oak floors and it is such a bright airy look. Highly recommend. We used two coats on the new and three on the old to match the slightly darker old. with the lighter new. It looks great and gives the room a very modern look. It took about 1.5 gallons to cover the first coat for about 800sqft because the wood just soaked it up. After that, we used about 3/4 gallon for each additional coat.

I had a friend who had refinished floors for years recommend Bona finish. I loved my newly sanded white oak floors and didn't want to hide them under a stain. This NordicSeal is perfect. It adds just the right amount of "white wash" finish without hiding the beautiful wood grain. I was a bit intimidated because it's my first refinish job, but there was really nothing to be afraid of. Watch the Bona videos. I used a T-bar applicator. There is a bit of a learning curve, but I watched YouTube videos and had no problems. I absolutely love the finish! I topped mine with Bona Traffic HD in matte finish.

So glad I used this on my 60 year old wood floors. They look like new. It was easy to apply. Very forgiving.

this product is great but it will make red oak turn slight pink should of done the math
