Where has this been all my life!
We live in a very beautiful but very damp Victorian house and sadly, damp has been causing us no ends of problems. I was having a window seat built into the bay window but when I inspected it, the wallpaper was soaked and mouldy. I didn't want to just cover it up with the built in window seat and have issues arise laterFound this online and oh my gosh, it's amazing. Peeled off the wallpaper and wiped it over to clean off the mold and then wiped the walls down with a bleach mixture and left to dry. I have never wallpapered in my life so this was a new experience!I was probably over generous with the wall paste in honesty (bought the damp block paste that goes with this) but it went up with no issues. Very easy to cut and place. Left to dry for 24 hours and then I repasted the old wallpaper on top using the damp block adhesive again. This was to make 100% sure it was sealed and also because there's about an inch of wallpaper visible when the window seat was installed!Been about three weeks or so now with heavy rain (thanks Wales) and have had no issues. I swear the room is even warmer now! Will be buying more and doing the other two damp walls in our home and wallpapering over the top. Massively recommend!

Excellent product
I wish I'd known about this before. Had some cold spots attracting condensation and mould growth - one very badly affected area. Removed the decoration and put this on then patched up. Problem solved there but now a noticeable difference between the 'repair' and the adjacent wall that still has minor blemishes. I would have no hesitation in using this in the future for entire walls BEFORE doing anything else internally.

Very thin, Ineffective and expensive
Used in conjuction with dampstop paste as recommended. Very thin and like trying to wallpaper with tin foil. Had very high hope that it would go someway towards addressing the damp, cold walls we experience in a wardrobe which is fitted to an exterior wall (having already removed the wardrobe doors and replaced with voile curtains to encourage airflow and thinned the contents out so it is not overcrowded. All seemed fine during the late summer/early autumn months but the minute the weather turned very cold last week, the walls (and one side of all our hanging clothes) were soaking wet again. Disappointed.
