I get to save my batteries!
Very nice remote. Good quality, doesn't feel cheap or like it will break easily. Buttons have a nice "push" to them and spring back nicely. Had no problem programming this to my Samsung smart TV and even was able to sync some commands from my previous Xbox/universal remote as well. Bought this specifically because my previous Xbox remote was backlit and I was replacing batteries SO OFTEN. This doesn't light up aside from the indicator light, and that's all I need. I like that there is a screw for the battery compartment and if you happen to lose the screw, or you don't want to unscrew the back every time to swap batteries - the back still does "lock" into place without it. You just then won't be able to use the wristband. This cost less than my previous remote and my TV responds even better. This is perfect.

Works great
Works great! Minor issue, it doesn’t have a ‘back’ button, you have to press B. Like I’ll navigate through Netflix but the OK and B buttons are kinda far from each other. Very minor in the grand scheme of things. The volume and mute worked automatically for my Hisense Roku tv; didn’t have to program anything.

Great replacement
I love Anderic remotes. I know they are just cheap Chinese replacements but unlike alot of the others it doesn't feel like it. The plastic seems solid and the buttons while squishy, are well placed. It works right out of the box and even controls my Vizio Atmos bar with no setup at all. Well worth the price.

Works as stated, good, simple
Firstly, several of the other reviews claim the effective range is not very far, I have found zero issues with the range, easily 8-16 foot range with these remote controls in two houses with vastly different sized rooms. Perhaps they’ve experienced this because of their Xbox IR receiver having an issue, or it’s obstructed, being unaware of its location on the face of the unit? Maybe some remotes are weak, but I have two and no issues at all. Secondly, I am a big fan of keeping things simple. That being said, this is the most simple universal remote I’ve ever set up! Push one button set, push another button, wait 20 seconds and you’re done! My only complaint, as another review had stated is: I wish it had about 4 more “dummy” buttons to be discretionary; Instead, I simply repurposed a few lesser used buttons, namely the mute and select buttons. I strongly suggest this remote control, as I said: it works well, for what it is meant to do, as advertised.

Works great
I read some of the negative comments and they must not know how a remote is supposed to work. Right out of the box it turned on my Xbox s. And it was so easy to program the buttons for my tv. Yes you have to aim it at the tv, but it’s a remote and it was very inexpensive. I have the Xbox official remote for my Xbox x and it does not have the features to operate my tv and was much more pricey.

Worked great at first then totally stopped working after a few months
Initially this seemed like a great media remote for my Xbox One because it required no setup and performed well. I was delighted to finally find an xbox remote that didn't have a backlight because I was tired of constantly having to change the batteries on my old one. Everything seemed great at first then it just stopped working after 2 months. I replaced the batteries thinking maybe I put some duds in but that wasn't it. I contacted the manufacturer (Anderic) about the issue but they blew me off. I wouldn't recommend buying this remote because in my experience it won't last very long.

It's just ok.
I wanted to love it and it was certainly better than the Retrosun one I had purchased that barely worked. But you still have to point this one right at the Xbox and it is slow to use and navigation is clunky. I found myself dreading using it, and when I use the Xbox controller I can run circles around this. So I'm just going back to that.
