Handy replacement part
Needed this to replace a part on my Dyson stick vac. Works great and my vac is good as new. Price was great too!

Exact replacement
This was an exact replica to the oem tool catch. Installation is straight forward and easy. Just make sure not to snap the little burrs on the sides when installing it. These are essential to keeping the catch in place. Once installed, it performed perfectly.

Perfect Fit - Must have (or purchase) the spring
Perfect replacement. Luckily I kept the spring that is needed to attach the clip. It took a bit of pressure to snap one side it, but my vacuum hose is now secure.

OEM & easy to install
Just got and install on my Dyson DC28 Animal. It took 2 minutes labor in one click. It fits perfect. Tested to open/close for a dosen times, and now I am happy to see it fixed. Please keep in mind that you have to have original spring because it doesn't go with the part. Or buy another "repair kit" which goes with a spring.

Easy fix-keep your spring from your old catch
Pricy for what it is but it worked on my dinosaur Dyson DC25. I found a video on YouTube to help with installing the part. Back in business!

It really was a genuine part.
I couldn't believe when the original part broke on my Dyson. It's a real pain to not have this part to lock the hose or accessories in place. I was glad to find it available on Amazon. The price seems a little crazy for such a small piece of plastic, but that seems to be the reality for just about anything these days. I guess my age might be showing here. And, if you gotta have it... It was an exact genuine part, which I was happy to see. Lucky for me, I found and kept the spring that goes in behind it. If you lost it, you'll have to buy one. It is a little tricky to get it reassembled, but it was so nice to have it working again.

Yes! It fixed my vacuum!
It’s expensive for what it is, but it’s a genuine Dyson part and it works perfectly. I had to buy the spring separately though. Hopefully this will keep my vacuum working for many more years to come. It’s worth the cost of the replacement parts when you think about it that way. Thank you!!
