Great MP3 player - it breathed new life into an old receiver. The RCA jacks went right into one of the inputs. I like how when it's turned back on, it just starts playing the MP3 library in random order, or the last setting it was in before it was turned off. Sound quality is nice and clear - no humming or buzzing. I also like the time counter display as the songs play. One more thing - it starts playing the next song immediately - no long delay between songs - and it does it when playing in random order - a good sign for this unit's ability to process the MP3 data.

Works great

I have a cabin in a rural area and wanted something that didn't require a lot of power to run as I only have solar for power and I do not have internet so I just want radio and to play my MP3 library. I suspect the sound quality is wholly dependent on what speakers you're running from. This was as good as what I expected. Note, this will not power the speakers so you need powered speakers or another source that will drive the speakers into which this is then connected. This, unfortunately, means its consuming more power than I had hoped for but I'm working on some solar speakers that may resolve that as well. One surprise was the range that the bluetooth signal carried. I was able to leave this in the cabin hooked into the solar outlet with my MP3 player plugged into it and have the bluetooth speakers around my firepit outside and still receive a signal. However, I could hook my MP3 player up to any speaker with an auxillary port so my real concern was also having access to the radio. The results of the radio were not very good. Again, I'm in a very rural area but I've gotten portable radios to bring in at least a few stations with a decent signal. It claims that the USB cable is an antenna. If it is, it does a pretty bad job. I think this needs a true powered antenna to work in an area such as mine. This was not able to bring in anything without a disturbing amount of static. I found no use for the remote control as it did not have a long enough range to be able to control anything from the distance I was at (i.e., to change sources, I had to go back in the cabin). So, not great but it was pretty cheap so I'm OK with that.

I got this for one thing only, so I can't address how well, or even if, it works for other functions. My beloved preamplifier was designed and built around the time Columbus discovered the New World. But the sound can't be beat, and it has the sweetest phono pre-preamp I've ever heard. As a concession to modernity, it does have two inputs for those new-fangled CD players. Remote? What's that? My CD player is venerable as well: it's a Proton unit from the late 1980's. It knows nothing about .MP3 files: .WAV or nothing. Again, remote? What's that? For parties, I had been burning CDs in .WAV format. But changing CDs every hour or so gets old, not to mention erratic as the evening's festivities progress. Enter this Xrong-brand device. Now I can load 30+ hours of music, even in .WAV files, onto a 16-gig thumb drive. And it has a display so I or guests know what track is playing. And now I have some remote functions! The "manual" is in Chingrish. Baffling Chingrish. It isn't bad enough to be unintentionally hilarious, though. In addition to the device, the box had all the cables I needed. You do need a USB power source, but USB hubs are inexpensive: search Amazon for "powered USB hubs" in Electronics. Mine was less than $20. The sound is okay, at least for my purposes. I compared this device's D to A converter with the one in my Proton relic. My CD player is audibly better, but this unit is fine for background music. UPDATE: The D to A converter is quite a bit better than the one in my smart TV! Warmly recommended.

I sent a note to the seller. No response. Hook up was great. It plays great, but when I press the number on the remote for it to play albums.. it does not recognize it and only plays random songs. Otherwise, a great unit. Maybe this will get their attention and contact me? UPDATE: Unit is skipping badly after a few minutes. FM, stops playing after some time also, then starts, then stops. I can deal with the random playing but not now. This unit apparently has not be tested at the mfg and there selling it here thinking buyers will not send it back. Wrong. This unit needs work. Sending it back immediately.

I really wanted to like this and it does have some positives. It is essentially a large music player with built in FM and apparently can link to bluetooth music sources, like your phone. I have been unable to connect this to bluetooth speakers. In term so the FM antenna, the reception is poor. It would be nice if, in addition to the USB antenna, one could use an external speaker wire system. This does not get channels that I can get in my car or in other radio players I own. The USB music plug works and plays music. I have not been able to get it to see an SD card. Perhaps it is a defective unit. When I put the micro-SD card in a USB adapter I can play it in this player so there is a work around. In many ways this is a glorified portable music player with many of the same options. It is designed to be an integrated system for an automobile. The equalizer system is simple but appears to only work with the USB music source option and not the FM radio option. It would be nice if it was able to read tags in the music and provide functionality to play based on the tags. This would raise the cost, so I can understand that design decision. This has the makings of a nice music player but lacks some critical functionality, IMHO. Given that, if it fits your need, it does work mostly as advertised and you may be able to be happy with this system.

This little box fits my needs perfectly. I have an older NAD analog stereo without Bluetooth or usb/sd card input. This thing has: Bluetooth usb/sd card input FM tuner Aux input 3.5mm line level output It remembers my settings when turned off and back on again: Output volume Last tuned FM station Repeat mode (one, all, random) DSP mode (6 settings like pop, rock, jazz, etc) Mode (Bluetooth, usb/sd card, FM tuner, Aux input) So in my case, I have it connected to my stereo’s switched AC power. When I power up my stereo, it turns on this little box which then begins playing the last song I was listening to from my SD card, in random repeat mode. It just doesn’t get any better than that! The board used in this thing is also known as 747D Just search the ‘net for 747D for more info, but be aware there are several versions of 747D being made in the Chinese factories, so be careful to choose the right one. It does not have a separate FM antenna input jack, but instead has the antenna input tied to the chassis inside. In this way, the attached cables (USB power and line level output) act as an antenna. Seems strange but works well none the less. Bluetooth works well and has good range. The FM tuner has presets and it can scan and memorize your local stations. The included remote control seems a little cheap, but works well nonetheless. Overall, this unit fits my needs perfectly, and I rate it 5 stars all the way.

This would be a great little radio for small go-karts and ATVs but every time you turn it on or change the modes this loud and annoying females voice with a heavy Chinese accent sounds off on what mode you switch to. It's like they went out of their way to purposely destroy their product.

It is working great for a cheap device. The manual says fat16 and fat32 only, but I just put an sdcard (64 GB) formatted in exFAT and it is working (the card is not full, so I don't know yet if it there is a size limit (since fat16 and fat32 have a limited partition size).) If you cut the power, it will resume where it left.

Super tiny, good sound and good price, I use it mainly for mp3 on the sd card slot connected to an old Boston 2.1 computer speaker and it sounds great big plus is that it’s powered by usb charger (not included) so it can be connected always
