Way LEGIT for $36! Accurate, smooth, repeatable, feel solid, nice case, stable, big display.
Wow! way legit for $36. I like the display layout, which is why I bought these, and because it has the ABS function. The display is nice and big, and it is the kind I like, all digits are the same size except for the last digit which nobody cares about (the 0.0005 when in inch mode). These calipers are consistent, the always go back to zero when closed and it is stable, not jumping 0.001 or so like some cheaper calipers. The slide is smooth, and I can do it fast and it does't loose count or jump 1 mil. The case is nice and sturdy, the instructions are nice and well written, and it came with an extra battery which I needed right away because the installed battery was already dead. I compared them with my 6" iGaging calipers and they gave me the same exact readings, so theses also seem to be just as accurate as my iGaging calipers. 0 Complaints except for the dead battery, but who cares, it came with an extra. Great.

Highly recommend for the price.
I am a cnc programmer and setup machinist. Works great for my uses. No issues calibrating at all. I would but again. Make sure to put a little measuring instrument oil on them, they felt a little dry.

Nice calipers, what’s up with the battery door??
Awesome size. Seems to have good accuracy, stable measurements. Solid choice. Nice case. I think this will be nice for fine woodworking and bigger measurements.Something is seriously wrong with the battery door. It feels like I’m going to break the thing, the only way to get it open is by pounding a sharp little flathead screwdriver in the crack and prying it open. Very stiff, why?

OK for woodworking, machine shop orroduction not suitable
This caliper is what it is, a low end less expenive unit. It will measure reliably to within .01 inches from the short time I have used it. It makes readings to .001 inches but I find they are not always repeatable. Make the same measurement several times and you get scattered results about .01 in wide. Thats less than 1/64 of an inch, well below most woodworking tolerance. Other than that, yhe big surprise was only a metric scale along the length. Not a big issue sunce the digital readout can provide either metric or inches. Conversion between the two seems constantly correct. Easy to use. My vision is fading so the digital scale is convenient. For the hobbyist, or home shop it's fine. Professional or production shop, you will probably have to triple the price before you get measurable and obvious better accuracy.

Solidly built, well made, precise
No complaints. Almost entirely metal which is nice.

Great price and accurate
Even though this product just got delivered I can already tell I'm really going to like it. Surprisingly it came with a spare battery. The accuracy seems on par with my old 6" caliper. Unfortunately it came with 2 small dents on the screen. It doesn't seem to hurt the usability but still a bummer. Overall I'd say it's well worth the money.
