Little Boy W/ Firefly Jar Outdoor Garden Statue

I chose this item and the matching 'Girlw/Firefly' statue because of sentimental memories of catching fireflies. I had tried a larger statue of the Boy, but found that I didn't have the space on my patio to properly feature it. I thought these smaller versions might fit the bill. Although they are much smaller than I'd hoped, I am able to put them together in one of the only sunny spots in my garden which allows the solar battery to charge . My real disappointment is that the firefly 'lights' in the jar do not flicker like a real firefly but instead give a faint steady light which looks more like a lantern than a firefly.

I haven't put it outside yet because I'm going onvacation. I'm looking forwward to putting them in thegarden. I only wish they were larger... perhaps two orthree times the present size...oh well!

out of the 3 things I ordered, this is the only one my husband didn't have to touch. Boy did I get the riot act from him.

I had been searching everywhere for the little boy. I couldn't seem to find one for a reasonable price. I absolutely love this!! The firefly always lights up & it makes for such a cute piece for my front yard. It seems made well & even with stronger winds it hasn't fallen over.

I am very happy with the quality and mentioned the one problem I had on the Little girl - but the little boy did start lighting a few days later.

This quit working after two months. Cute idea but should have lasted longer than that.

These units look and operate very well. After a day of charging they burned most of the night. They are small though. Look at the dimensional information. I was please with this product.

The little boy is perfect as a garden statue but has not functioned as a solar light. We have it in direct sunlight where we have had other solar lights that have worked well. I bought a new battery and it still does not light up.
