Bruder 03550 Scania R-Series Dump Truck

If you can get over the price of Bruder trucks-just buy them. For this size (which is pretty big) they are the best and immensely playable. My two year old son has out this thing to the test for about 3 months after receiving this as a birthday present and it's great because it's functional. He puts gravel, "garbage" and you name it in to this dump truck and dumps it. It rolls beautifully but best of all-it is extremely durable as are all Bruder trucks. They look great, but they will last even though they are plastic and not metal. They are very safe but somehow can withstand just about anything. My son will run this into brick walls and its fine. If you are going to splurge on a dump truck and one that will be around for awhile-I recommend it for utility, fun and durability. Note that it is large so once you have purchased it, it's going to have a footprint somewhere and your child needs places to drive around a largish truck. A great functional toy to enjoy together with your child.

Santa brought this at my son's request. He loves it!!! He loads the dump body with crayons, legos, whatever. It is a large (about 2 ft long), rugged truck with working doors that I can see lasting a long time. It is well made and worth the extra cost. Bruder also has a wide variety of work trucks and my son is already picking out the next one. They even have little work men. I plan to buy only Bruder from now on.

I bought this for my 4 1/2 almost 5 year old grandson....what a hit!!! He loved it and it's held up to him and all that implies! It's very well-made. I read all the reviews before I purchased it and I am so glad I did. This was an excellent purchase, a bit pricey, but well worth it when my grandson opened it and was so PLEASED!! Highly recomended. This truck is huge, heavy and very well made. Bigger than any Mercedes or MAN trucks made by Bruder. Does not come with the light module as pictured. The dual rear wheels are actually one piece. If you love bruder toys you need to buy this truck along with the MACK Granite with crane.

Grand children love it. While I know he's young (2.5 yrs old) he plays with it gently and really likes the big truck and its ability to haul stuff. We count the wheels, make back up noises and each of us have our own trucks to move around the yard great imaginary capabilities. Great toys so far as I play with my grandkids, great details and yes if your child is rough on toys the likely hood of breaking off the small parts is real.

This truck is heavy and very well made. This is the 4th Bruder truck we have purchased for my son (now 4 years old) and will continue to purchase these products. My son loves this dump truck.

I purchased this Bruder after seeing it at a relatives house for my 3 year old and he loves it, I actually enjoy the detail and the craftsmanship of this toy as well as its durability.
