Works Great
This unit was bought specifically as a portable and not as an under-counter or whole house RO filter. And for that purpose, at least, it is better than expected. Very easy to set up, the Hydro-Logic filter took my nearly “contaminated” 440ppm hard water and turned it into 12ppm. It took about 20 minutes to make 5 gallons of sweet, soft water, so it is somewhat of a slow process. But, in a blind taste test given to 2 friends using my tap water, bottled Poland Spring water, bottled distilled water (store brand), and my tap water filtered by the Hydro-Logic RO filter, the filtered RO water was actually preferred. AND, all of my houseplants have had an immediate positive reaction to using softer RO water. And that’s being filtered with the carbon filter that came with the unit, not even the upgraded filter that I’m sure will drop my ppm to near 0. Great product!

This by far one of the best investments I've made
This by far one of the best investments I've made . The wife and I have been dragging water jugs in for a while and thought there has to be a better way. So I done some research and this was the answer. We are on a private well and the water is really bad. Full of iron with a ppm reading of 780 and ph 7.6. When I installed this unit our end product went down to 10 ppm and ph at 5.7!!!! Unreal. When I first hooked it up there was a small leak at one of the fittings that I just couldn't get sealed . Called customer support and they offered to ship a new unit If I wanted them to. To speed things up after agreement on my part they shipped my a new housing unit right away. Installed it in no time and everything works flawlessly. No more lugging water into the cart then the car then in the house. Best thing I purchased in a while.

Perfect Water - Amazing Product
The water in Las Vegas is super hard, tastes bad and is just not good at all. We have an RO system in the kitchen but we use that water for drinking and cooking (if you try to use it too much it regenerates really slow).I got this for my photography darkroom and for cleaning. For film and paper developing I know it is important to have good water, and with this I went from water with a PPM of around 500ppm to under 10 ppm. It works GREAT at removing everything you do not want in your water. The wife uses this RO systems water for the mop, and it leaves the floor so much cleaner and Streak-free compared to regular tap water.I would highly recommend this system to anyone concerned with lowering the ppm in their water. For us.. we are around 40psi.. and it takes about 9 minutes to fill a gallon of water.. or about 50 minutes to fill a large 5 gallon water jug.Pros: It works, lowers the ppm, the treated water tastes great, works wellCons: You better set a timer, no auto shut off and if you forget about it you will have a mini flood

Hydro-logic Stealth 200, Reverse Osmosis System.
Expensive but definetly worth it. I happen to be blessed with actually pretty good tap water in Western Washington, with my TDS meter I got a reading of 80.0-90.0 TDS unfiltered tap water. It is pretty high in chlorine though. After setting up with very easy to undertand instructions I measured my now filtered tap water and got readings in the 0.5-0.8 TDS range! Talk about pure water. Of course the chlorine odor was gone and it was tasteless. I purchased the waste reduction option but did not have the time to try it out. It does waste allot of water as the only downside I can think of, but I use that water on my lawn so it is really not wasted.

This is an excellent reverse osmosis water purification system that produces all the water needed for a home kitchen drinking water and cooking water use. I installed it under my kitchen sink that replaced an old model GE osmotic system. The only reason I gave it a four star is that it does not come with a storage tank reservoir to make the system practical and usable for drinking water and cooking use in a home kitchen. I installed a two gallon reservoir tank with a air pressure bladder to make it useful. Without the tank reservoir filling a glass of water would take about 2 minutes whereas with a reservoir bladder, filling a glass of water take about 5 to 10 seconds. If a tank reservoir is installed be sure to install an in line one way valve to the supply line to prevent back flow into the R/O system.

Using this for my vegetable garden and cannabis plants. My Tap water is about 340-350ppm, using the included 2:1 filter, I’m receiving RO water at 24ppm. Plants are loving it so far. Remember to add Calcium back to RO for plants. Will upgrade to KDF carbon filter in the future and get pressure control valve to keep my pressure below 80psi. This is an awesome plug and play system!

The state of flow rate of 300 gallons per day is only for hot water
This product is only rated for use with hot water. With cold water it puts out less than a hundred gallons per day. It was however easy to hook up. Wish they didn't feel the need to deceive people or flat out lie about their product. Also while they say that RO water will give you the highest purity of water. If you don't have the new kdf filter it's leaving in all the chlorine and chloramine that your city water has.I've come to realize that the city water has some sort of biological pathogen in it. Stuff that stays wet from City water grow some type of pink slime. The RO filter does not remove a significant portion of the biological pathogens. It appears by removing the chlorine and chloramine it allows the pathogens to thrive in the dechlorinated water. You want to spend even more money on a UV filter

I like it, high quality name brand unit in water purification!
I have always wanted a R/O unit at home and this is certainly handy for anyone growing hydroponically or just concerned with the quality of their water. This Hydrologic unit is simple to use and setup. You will need to buy optional attachments if you want 0 PPM or to use it as a water drinking station under a sink. It is the best selling unit on the market so with any luck finding replacement parts and filters should be relatively easy. If you want to rig things up a little fancy check out John Guest fittings to get some T connections etc..

Great for the price
Great for the price, well built. was expecting a little more gpd (even if I got the new 300gpd), maybe it's winter though, water is cold and that doesn't help.
