Container Gardening
This book is excellent, it is everything it is advertised to be. We finally have a good crop of tomatoes after nothing for the past several years. I went a little overboard in costs, but as each year comes and goes, the cost diminishes. We are having a bumper crop of Better Boy and Big Boy tomatoes. We planted one Eggplant, and it is just loaded with fruit. Out Red Bell pepper is loaded, the Green Bell is doing good, but our Yellow Bell pepper is slow; however, I would say that container gardening is the way to go, especially when you have limited space and not so good soil, as we do. Great Book.

Great book, but received damaged
I learned of this author thanks to a gardening show on PBS. I like the book, and can't wait for spring to arrive (currently melting off 8 inches of snow we received this week--ugh) so that I can start putting together some container gardens. However, I purchased this book a "new" and it arrived with definite evidence of shop wear. Both right side corners are dog eared, and the cover is scratched up. The other book that arrived in this shipment was in absolutely pristine condition. If I'd paid the full cover price for the book, I would definitely return it for a refund. However, given the deep discount purchase price and the hassle of returning it, I'm going to keep it. I'd just advise purchasers who might be buying the book as a gift to be aware that it could arrive damaged.

Good Pictures
I want to grow some vegetables in containers in a condo with a sunny deck and a shady walkout patio and this is a helpful book for ideas on how to combine so it looks great while you are growing. I did notice many of the combo containers use non-edible veggies like decorative kale and cabbage which is not what I was looking for. There are plenty of good ideas too. I am now starting my containers and have beans, peppers, tomato plants, eggplants, and many choices to combine with flowers. I am not sure how they will look after the harvest though.

Easy Container Combos"Vegetables and Flowers
This book on container gardening by Pamela Crawford is fantastic.I'm a Master Gardener and was tired of the same old type of containers, I'd been doing.I'd tried to vary them. Pamela's book is beautifully done. Both for the information, and the photos. You'll not only get many new ideas,But Pamela Crawford tells you mistakes she has made in the past and how to correct it. This book will stimulate your creative ideas and help you create beautiful containers and baskets that are not your ordinary baskets.I'm looking forward to my hanging baskets producing beautiful flowers and the surprise of yellos pear shaped tomatoes, cascading in them as well.Judy Broughton.

Info good for small containers.
This is really meant for small containers. My wife was looking for something that was on a much larger scale.

Inspirational and Easy to follow
I bought this book and brought it on a trip with a friend. The friend liked it so much she begged me to keep it. I just came from her home and she has created 3 different baskets of flowers and vegetables, just from reading this book. I have since reordered the book so that I try my hand at easy container gardening. Every gardener that sees this book, loves it and wants one for themselves! Finally a book for container gardening that even a novice can understand and follow. Easy Container Combos: Vegetables & Flowers (Pamela Crawford's Contianer Gardening)

No help at all.
To be honest, this book was no help. Many of her suggestions for companion plants were poisonous and of no real benefit. She used the same plants over and over, and despite there being a US map of temperatures, she didn't give a clue as to what grew well where. She also didn't give confidence by apparently not consulting experts and her only research being chucking plants in and seeing what failed!Wouldn't do for Monty Don or Carol Klein.

love it
pictures are great and plenty of good ideas. I wish I had gotten a note book to write all my plan as I read the book - now I have to wait until the stores open to get out and get one. a really great gardening book for people with limited space and love both flowers and veggies.
