I love the natural look of these. The allure of the smooth side, each reflecting the light slightly differently. The rough and rugged other side, the natural tone and contours of the shell that it once was. These have great variation in thickness and colour. Some are slightly warped in shape. This is fine for me, if I wanted regular perfection then I would have bought plastic. The size and hole placement/size is absolutely the same in all of these (except one).I ordered 100 buttons and I got exactly 100 two holed buttons and one odd one holed button. I call him Fred.
