Great if you have a solid base to mount it to..
I had to remove the center drawer in order to have a solid base to mount the tray, but love it. It allows me to easily move from sitting to standing positions.

Great tray
I've been looking for a tray for my taller than normal floating desk and I needed something that could go low enough while sitting and tall enough for me while standing.Took me 2 hours to install it but the process was seamless. Things to note of you have a desk made of MDF or substitute wood:- reinforce the plate/rail with a 1/2 inch thick wooden board- spread thin layer of gorilla glue on one side of the wood and press onto the underside of the table (in my case an IKEA countertop)- drill the guide holes into the wooden board- fasten the plate/rail with some stronger wooden screws that are long enough to penetrate both the board and table- finish assemblyI have more confidence that the tray won't fall on my thighs and feet now. I'll update this review in the future. Its heavy but looks sturdy and be aware of the length of the rail. You may need to cut the length to accommodate the depths of some tables.

Too Heavy
Too heavy! This is a serious piece of hardware!

Can I get all the parts???!!!
I will change my review once I receive ALL the parts.07/10/21The product packaging had a big hole in it, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt because I understand how many times this thing has probably been picked up and put down in trucks. I started putting this bad boy together but realized there are two plastic pieces that go inside of the rail system and if you don't have them it won't work. I sent an email to the customer support team at Mount-it. I am awaiting a reply. But it is a QUALITY piece and I think once I get it together I will really like it.Update 8/7/21I forgot to come back and change my review. I contacted them and they sent me an ENTIRE NEW unit once they verified my purchase through Amazon. Great customer service. 10/10 would buy again!!!!

Good range - Keyboard tray is uncomfortable
Overall, the best under-desk mount that I've found for its range, not only in how close/far you can sit to the edge of the desk but also how high/low the tray can go as well as the angle you can set for the tray itself. I have a three-monitor setup with sit/stand mounts and adjust my workstation frequently as I work long days. I've tried a number of keyboard mounts but this is by far the most customizable. The keyboard tray is uncomfortable, however.PROS:*If I bring the keyboard tray to the front of the track it extends to a nice 18 inches from the edge of the desk. This is great during long zoom meetings when I want distance from the screen but may need to type a few notes here and there. I can also comfortably stand and type without "maxing out" the height. The mount has full 360 rotation making it easy to adjust the angle to align with my monitors when I move them. I can also adjust the angle of the tray so that the top of the keyboard is lower than the bottom, which helps ease pressure on the wrists.CONS:The keyboard tray/shelf is the cause of 4 instead of 5 stars. First, there is a bar that extends along the bottom edge of the tray. It is narrow and hard. The bar has a thin layer of padding, but not much. Since it's narrow (~1 inch) it cuts right into the wrist or palm and feels like I'm resting my hands on a ledge. Even with a wrist pad it cuts into the arm and has caused some numbness after a long day. The pad is glued onto the tray so it's possible to remove, but a pain to do so.Second, the keyboard tray has a slight springiness to it so that when you rest your wrists on the tray it lowers about .5 inches. Maybe a benefit to some? But a bit annoying for myself as I'm particular about the height of the tray. Since I work long hours it's important for me to have things "just right" otherwise it can cause a lot of physical pain.Third, if you like to have your feet flat on the ground or in a wide position, you will hit the lift mechanism with your kneecap. The lift is on the side of the tray, and extends ~1.5 inches in depth, and is ~3 inches wide. Similarly, if you like to work with the keyboard at "lap height" so that your arms naturally rest on your thighs, the length and springiness will make it so the tray feels like it's resting on your legs.Lastly, the tray is set up so that if you have both the keyboard and mouse on the tray, the keyboard is not centered to your body. This means that one arm or both arms are reaching further than need be to access either of these tools. This causes a lot of shoulder/neck pain in the long run, but if you center the keyboard then there is not much room for the mouse.Still the best mount I've used. Would recommend.

Excellent Keyboard Tray! Adjustments perfect for sitting or standing!
Finally not feeling carpal pain. Working from home w/ the desk level use of keyboard is not good for anyone who spends many hours a day on keyboard. Your wrists should not be bent upwards, but downwards! With the addition of this tray, I can finally sit comfortably w/ my hands in front of me at waist level w/ slight downward tilt so my hands are straight, not bent upwards. This helps w/ anyone who has carpal tunnel syndrome and has fixed the pain I've been getting from working home remotely now that covid has us all quarantined! Even though I have an adjustable desk platform, I don't use it. With this keyboard tray and simple $20 monitor arms, I am easily able to adjust in 10 seconds my position from sitting to standing for both monitors. Plenty less expensive than buying a Varidesk and more ergonomic.

Waste of time, money and effort
Instructions are vague to the point of being actively offensive, I had to look up a YouTube video from the manufacturer for additional assistance and even that left out important details, like the fact that you have to ensure that the two plastic inserts are attached to the arm before you slide it onto the rail, otherwise it will be prone to falling off the rail and potentially breaking your feet.Instructions seemed to imply that a screwdriver should have been included, but was not so I had to go and buy one. Also had to buy a power drill, as I was not aware that one was needed to actually attach this.Ultimately realized that the large size of the arm makes it incompatible with my desk. Will be returning. Disappointing experience.
