Correct part, fits perfectly.

I use this for my older Snapper Riding Mower. The cap doesn't fit exactly and if I turn it up on it's back, gas will leak out. That said, I wasn't sure it would be a perfect fit in the first place so it's really my error. I'm hoping to let others know in case they are in the same situation.Like I said, it works great when I am just mowing, but otherwise i have to put tape under it to keep the gas from leaking out when I am working on it.

I replaced my broken gas cap beginning of season with this one.all it does is let water get into the tank and since water is heavier than gas it goes straight into the carb. i've been trying to figure out how rain water keeps contaminating the gas and now i know its the gas cap. (i did have water in one of my gas cans. the pressure relief is a 2 way street. it lets gas fumes out and water in.

Fits my rear engine snapper mower. Vent closes tight and doesn't leak when you stand the mower on end to work on the deck.
