Provides a great overview of the XJS line and focuses on areas a prospective buyer needs to closely examine. Gives novice Jag purchaser a understanding of what they get when they buy a XJS

A must read if you are considering one of the magnificent Grand Tourers.Very helpful and informative. Read it cover to cover before jumping into the wonderful world of XJS ownership.

Useful (except for prices mentioned)
Cute book and useful if you are in the market for a XJ-S. I have not gone through the entire booklet yet, but for a 2018 reprint the prices mentioned, I believe, are not accurate (plus I don’t understand what currency they use (see photo). If a show car is up to 15000 (dinars? Euro? Pounds?) then can I please order 3? Even in 2018 I doubt that was the case. However, in combination with the vast info available online, I think this is a useful booklet.

OK, but a lot of information is duplicated across all these guides.
Like all these guides, there is a lot of same information in each book e.g. checking documents etc.The actual model specific information is good, but only occupies at most 50% of the book.However, if you are after an XJS the information is very useful.

Hubby's Gift
My hubby has always wanted a Jaguar. His retirement present to himself was an XJ-S 1996 Jaguar Convertible, British Racing Green, with leather beige interior, only 52,000k on it. What an awesome summer cruiser this is. My hubby spent many happy hours reading this book. Would recommend for any Jaguar Enthusiasts out there.

Voilà pour l'amateur de ce coupé Jaguar qui a remplacé la célèbre Jaguar Type E ( si tant est que ce petit chef d'oeuvre soit remplaçable), disons donc qui a succédé à la Jaguar Type E, une intéressant petit manuel permettant d'établir le diagnostic complet lors d'un projet d'achat d'un tel modèle. On ne peut que regretter qu'un tel opuscule n'ait pas été traduit en français !
