Sized For Small Hands
I have small hands coupled with arthritis and these pruning shears make pruning easy and comfortable. I've had one pair of these clippers for about 5 years now and ordered several more because I don't ever want to be without them. They hold their edge well and the pink color stands out well when I set them down in the garden. They occassionally lock when the safety catch engages accidentally but I've cut far larger diameter branches than they are designed to cut without any issues. These are a great ergonomic tool and I highly recommend them for anyone who is looking for a comfortable smaller clipper at a reasonable price.

Good product
I bought one of these locally before (probably Walmart), but while trimming one of my trees, I lost the middle spring rendering it useless. I even emptied my green recycle bin thinking it fell in the bin while working. Found the spring days later in the lawn. Fortunately I ordered another right away. My older one was a nicer medium pink color, this is the same model, but kind of odd shade of red.

I use all it summer long . With the sharp blade it cuts very nice.

Failed in first two hours of use, but replaced promptly
Original review:----------------------------------------------------------This is my second pair of Fiskars Stainless Steel Bypass pruners. They are (were) my favorite bypass pruners. The first pair is about eight years old with orange handles and is still in perfect working order. I wanted a couple extra pairs so that they would be handy and so my daughter could have a pair to call her own. So I was pleased to discover that Fiskars still made these wonderfully useful pruners. The new pair came apart in the first two hours that I tried to use them. I had only made about 20 cuts with them before the plastic that supports the metal bolt in the pivot point of the two blades sheared off and failed. The honeysuckle branch that I was trying to cut was only 3/8"--well under the stated 1/2" diameter cutting capacity of the blade. It was also a size branch that the old blades have successfully cut hundreds of times over the past eight years.I noticed that my venerable old paid of Fiskars has "Finland" printed proudly across the handle, whereas my new, short-lived pair has nothing. I checked the package that the new pair came in which says "Made in China." The manufacturer has changed, so the material quality may or may not have changed as well. The pruners come with a lifetime warranty, so I will call Fiskars on Monday and ask for repair or replacement. I do *not* have a good feeling about the likelihood of the new bypass pruners living up to the legacy of the original. At least I bought two new pairs, so maybe I'll have at least one of the new ones to use while the repetitively-needing repair set is crossing in the mail.-------------------------------------------------------Update:Fiskars promptly and without any hassle replaced my defective pair of bypass pruners.Neither of the two new ones have failed in the ensuing months, nor has my old pair. But I do now deliberately avoid using these pruners on woody plants that are any bigger than 1/4" diameter. The heavy work is now reserved exclusively for my Felco 2.I still like the Fiskars very much--they operate smoothly, are rustproof, and stay sharp for years under normal use. I took one star away because I believe that the stated cutting capability exceeds the limits of the plastic parts. Otherwise, they are an excellent light-grade pruner.

excellent product and comfortable to use
I found that this straight blade pruner requires less wrist movement when positioning it around a stem or small branch than one with a curved blade. Plus its an excellent value for its cost by Fiskars which have become my go to brand for trimmers and pruners. This is the second one I purchased because I was so happy with my first purchase a month ago.

BEST BONE SHEARS EVER!!!!!!
We have a USDA inspected poultry processing plant and out of all the expensive poultry shears we have tried and regretted purchasing these Fiskars and hands down the best for necks and tail bone cutting with NO effort or issues. We have been using them daily for months and NEVER had a problem with springs or dullness or rust and the grip is better than most fancy grips on other shears. If they are that good cutting bone they must good on pruning small branches in which they are intended for. I heard the Fiskar company has retired. I sure hope whoever buys them out keeps the quality of the original Fiskar products. I have had Fiskar scissors for at least 20 years in our business office and they are the BEST scissors we have ever used never losing their ability to slide across paper cutting it with out even squeezing the handle. No scissors have come close to lasting that long. BTW... my pair was stolen twice and I hunted the culprits down each time. They stay locked up now...

ITS NOT PINK
The media could not be loaded. It's funny what companies claim as one color but it's not even close. It says pink 🩷 but it's more on the red ♥️ side(I'll live with it). Like between burgundy and rose wine(not happy(. To move the safety is extremely hard almost couldn't move it. I wonder how long before it loosens up?(not happy)I LOVE THESE! I'm loving how sharp they are, effertlessly cuts through 1" branches. I think I even cut bigger. I never want to be without my fiskars! Buying a 2nd pair just as back up and I'll probably pick up another later. They perform perfectly for my small hands. I love to stash them comfortably in my back pocket so when having to pull at grape vines I can whip it out and slide the safety off and snip in one smooth motion.
