Like all the Ateco products, this washes up nicely. Costs a bit more, worth a lot more. Love the generous size, the high quality, the easy cleaning.

My girlfriend is a baker and is always messing around in our kitchen making everything from cupcakes to pies. She does a lot of decorating and was currently using throw away piping bags. I decided to surprise her with something that would last a little bit longer and she was thrilled! The cupcake shop she works at uses these same bags so when she saw I picked a good bag, she couldn't have been happier. They are very easy to clean, all you have to do is run some hot water and soap through it and everything comes out very easily. When you use oily materials, they don't leak through the sides like some bags, and if you need to you can even cut the bag down to the exact size you like, that is what she did. Save yourself some money and get one of these bags, you won't regret it!

Good bag. It is a little stiff but I am not using it for icing/decorating and it should soften up a little with use. Seems large and strong enough to handle the stiff pastry dough I will be piping. The inside did have a little plastic smell at first but that went away after turning it inside out and giving it a wash with mild dish washing detergent. My only complaint is, and it's a minor one, is that during and after washing it curled up quite a bit at the top opening which takes away about an inch of overall length. It's probably the fabric outside shrinking a bit. No big deal but take one star for that. It's a good strong bag. I recommend.

Heavy duty and made in the USA. I use it with creamy and fine mashed potatoes and it works perfectly. That is harder on the bag than cake frosting and it hasn't missed a beat. In other words, it does what it is suppose to do.

I'm kind of a newbie to reusable pastry bags, so you might want to take my review with a grain of salt, but I wasn't a huge fan of this bag. The great thing about this bag is that it's made in the good ol' USA, which is a major reason why I decided to get this one. However, I'm not sure if that outweighs the issues I've had with it. 1) It's a little smelly when you first take it out, like really plastic-y, although this did go away mostly after using it a handful of times. 2) It's more stiff than the other reusable pastry bags I have. It's harder to twist it at the end and keep a hold on while piping compared to the other bags I have. While I was piping out coffee macarons, the batter would at times come out the end it's not supposed to and onto my hand. But maybe you're okay with a stiff pastry bag. 3) The ring that's embedded into the bag so that you can hang it to dry is really small. I like my other bags that have a bigger loop so I can hang them on the knobs of my kitchen cabinets. But maybe you have really small cabinet knobs to hang it off of.

I used it for piping Viennese fingers. Very happy with the piping bag.

Is holding up to hot temperatures and a fair amount of force.
