FIFA 14 - Xbox One

Let me first disclose that I am not a hard core gamer. I have owned various consoles going back to the Atari 2600 but will never have an all night session and I usually only play for a limited time. I purchased FIFA 14 to play with my kids, who both play soccer in a local Rec league. We played for hours the first day this was opened and have had several matches since.I have not dived too far into the online play or advanced features but we are very happy with setting up a quick match and playing through. The graphics are very well done, love the instant replay during the game. The AI also seems to work very well for weather and the day you are playing (it knew it was Christmas day for instance).I have not played a previous version of the game so I cannot speak to any loss of features but as I said, for our house, it is a great addition to the Xbox One

This game is great! Best FIFA so far. My only complaints would be;1) While the graphics are great and the best so far for FIFA, you can tell that EA took the easy route and did not really work hard to make this a stellar graphical game on the Xbox One nor PS4. They are both better than the PS3 and Xbox 360, but they don't come close to pushing the limits of these new consoles.2) In hindsight I would have digitally purchased the game instead so that I was not required to insert the disk everytime, and also easily play it at other people's houses.Regardless, I'm very happy with the purchase. Great Game for next gen consoles.

Fifa 14 is great, yes it had the crash of going back to home screen after the game but after reading some reviews I found you have to switch the arena player for any other different than the default and also the arena goalkeeper and that is it the problem is fixed.The kinect takes ordes from you, like formations, mentality and substitutions can be done with your voice when kinect is enableIf you are Fifa fan this game is what you need, but if you are looking for something different, look some other place because Fifa is pretty much like the others Fifas with some improvements but the same.

This is my first sports game for the xbox one, and the menus have changed a bit from the 360 (they're more boxy now, like the xbox one menus), so that took some time to get used to. But navigation aside, I love this game. My first FIFA game, and I have trouble putting it down. Definitely recommend. And since the world cup was in 2014, you get access to the world cup matches and can play as the country teams. What's not to love about that?

It had many glitches and never finished downloading on my Xbox Series X , which should run games easier and faster , yet there was many glitches and keeps crashing .

While hardcore fans may be disappointed that some lesser played modes, such as tournament mode, are missing, don't be alarmed. The main modes such as head to head seasons, ultimate team, career mode and pro clubs are featured to their full extent. Huge improvements were made to the game in terms of realism. Graphically, the players look more realistic and the developers have added several new animations so that you will rarely see the same shot or tackle more than once. Also, gameplay now relies more on the player's strength and first touch ability, rather than purely on pace. Unfortunately, the EA Servers are inconsistent, rendering head to head and seasons and ultimate team unplayable at times. Also, corner kicks are overpowered and undefendable at times. Needless to say, Fifa 14 for the Xbox One remains a deffinate pick up for all soccer fans and gamers.

Great game...just got an Xbox One and wanted a Fifa game to play (already played FIFA 15 for a few months on the 360, so I didn't want to buy it again for $40). So I saved $20 and picked up Fifa 14 instead. Of course the roster is slightly outdated now and there's a few tiny changes in the gameplay (I really don't notice much), but you get what you pay for. Still a fun game.

Please save yourself the aggravation that has plagued me since I purchased this game. The game is defective and most modes will not work. Career mode freezes after the first game every time and crashes you back to the Xbox dashboard and you have to restart the game. The same happens after Ultimate Team matches as well. So that takes the two best game modes out of the game and renders them completely unplayable. There is no update in sight and EA sports has made no effort to help its customers resolve the issue. They blame Microsoft and Microsoft blames EA and nobody will take responsibility. Online seasons mode is playable but the severe lag and outrageous team ratings also make this game mode absolutely miserable to play. 9 out of every 10 teams you play will be Real Madrid and there is no way to stop the lobbed through ball. This game has infuriated me more than anything in my entire life and I have heard rumors of a class action lawsuit being filed against EA. This game was the biggest waste of money and there is no way to return it unless you want to take $15 from Gamestop. I am warning you all to STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME as it will cause you endless frustration and be a total and complete waste of your money. If all you want to do is play kick off games by yourself or with a friend then you'll be ok but that is literally the only game mode that works. Also the controller vibration function is messed up as well with the game and there is no vibration. There are probably more problems I am forgetting because they are simply endless. This is hands down the worst game I have ever played in my entire life and I have a gamer score of over 50k. Absolutely disgusted with EA and am never EVER buying an EA game again. Good riddance.
