I don't run anymore due to a knee injury but I do a lot of walking. I was on the look out for a small, lean, lightweight backpack to store a waterproof, gloves, keys, phone, water and some food when on my walks. The Omm Ultra 8 is perfect for my needs and exceeded all expectations.Features:- hydration bladder compatible- lean weight (220g)- yolk harness (combined chest and waist strap)- whistle on yolk harness strap- small zipper pocket with key loop attached- large zipper main compartment- wrap around mesh pockets on each side- reflective detailing- universal gear railYOLK HARNESS SYSTEMThe Omm Ultra 8 backpack has a unique yolk harness system that replaces the chest and waist strap system on backpacks. The yolk harness is just one strap that fits on or below the chest. Once adjusted to size the bag doesn't move and you can't feel it's on.As a women the yolk harness strap sits on or below my chest so if you have quite a large chest the yolk system might be an issue for you. However, if using the bag for walking then you can easily use the bag and not attach the yolk harness straps.LARGE MESH POCKETSThe Omm Ultra 8 has a large mesh pocket on both sides. The mesh pocket is very deep and easily holds a large water bottle and more. The mesh pocket also has a hook and loop tape so it can be separated off into two smaller sections if required.SECTIONSThe Omm Ultra 8 has a large compartment with a two way zipper and a storm flap. It also has a very small zipper section to hold keys. The small section has a key loop to keep your keys secure. Unfortunately the small zipper section does not hold larger phones such as an iPhone 6 Plus.COMPATIBILITYThe Omm Ultra 8 is compatible with hydration bladders, OMM GoPod's and OMM Compressor pod's.

I love this little back pack although it will only take your water bladder and your lunch! It still has all the pockets and attachments of the larger packs

Positives first...Nice & light for running & cycling. Fits great too & good little size for the basics.Negatives...Unfortunately, despite me liking this bag very much, upon first use, just a 2hr bike ride later, I returned home to find the black part of the bag that hugs my back had transferred black dye on my new & expensive ‘muddyfox,’ pink cycling jacket! Absolutely gutted. I treated the transferred stain and washed the jacket but to no avail! Still black marks. See pictures (just after coming out of the wash).So, a bit like dark new jeans possibly. The bag needs to go in a wash before use to possibly disperse any excess dye. (Washing instructions is Hand Wash only). I don’t actually know if that will work yet. About to give it a go but the damage is already done & Amazon who sold this item direct (not a 3rd party) were appalling at helping or assisting me to cover damages! 2hrs on the phone and being passed around by 6 reps passing the book, gave me a tiny discount & left me absolutely exhausted! A waste of my precious time that could have been better spent. Not happy with their service at all. Just awful. It’s actually made me weary about what or if I will purchase from Amazon in the future.So, a caution to you if you will be using this bag over light valued/expensive clothing. I’d think twice. A shame really because otherwise a really good little bag. It should really come with a warning & instructions to wash before first use. And an expensive purchase really for a bag that has dye issues.Hope this assists you with your buying decisions 😊

It was very light and seemed really good quality but the combined chest/waist strap for a lady with boobs - errr no. I would not want to inflict that sight on anyone! Its a shame because it was ideal in every other way.
