Some of the best eyedrops I've used
Several years ago I was told by an optician I had dry eyes and recommended using another brand that had 0.2% sodium hyolauronate. I've been on the search for something cheaper that's effective. This does the trick. They are good at hydrating, and longer lasting than some other brands. A big win for me is that they don't sting when I use them if I haven't put drops in for quite a while which all other brands do. They arent particularly cheap but I will be buying them again. I would warn that the tube takes some squeezing so may not be suitable for some people, but I still find it easier than the pump versions. Particularly as you can squeeze most of the drop at a normal height before giving it a gentle squeeze to drop it in your eye.

Great product for dry eye - bad design
Best eye drops I've used to sort out dry eye, especially while I have been getting used to my first pair of astigmatism glasses. But the bottle design is flawed, after 50% usage it is difficult to squeeze the drops out due to the amount of air inside and the bottle shape. Needs a push mechanism ideally.

Yes!
very good. i mean what can you say about eye drops really. they are soothing, and stop the itching and dryness.

Boric acid really does help!
Since the 'demise' of Brolene eye drops, it has been hard to find alternative eye drops that contain boric acid. However, although they are quite a bit dearer than Brolene drops, I have found that these particular optrex drops help recurring eye problems even more quickly than the previous Brolene drops. What's more, they do not contain chloramphenicol, which seems to have replaced boric acid in many products these days, in spite of the fact that some people may be sensitive to that 'new' chemical. Thank you Optrex, and also Amazon, whose fast delivery helped me greatly!

Good (if you can the drops out!)
Had tried a couple of other brands of drops for dry eyes and have to say, this one was by far the best with two drops in each eye every morning lasting until early evening and giving complete relief - no more watering eyes. However, it has some new kind of nozzle on it (to help keep the drops sterile after opening?) and, when you’ve used half the contents, I found it virtually impossible to squeeze any more drops out! With great effort I managed to use 3 quarters before giving up. It’s such a shame as the drops themselves are very effective. Reluctantly, therefore, I can give it only 3 stars.

Great for dry eyes if you can negotiate the dropper that is
Very awkward to use goes all over your face and a lot is wasted. Decided to transfer into an empty well washed dropper I had at home’ it is a bit messy as these drops are thick and bubbly but worth the extra effort I needed to take as the drops now work for me

So difficult to squeeze with one hand.
The drops are effective and the 'gel' consistency is good. However I'm old and cannot administer with one hand so can't hold the lower eyelid open. It takes both hands to produce a drop which is then somewhat hit or miss. Previous drops I have had just needed firm one fingered pressure on the bottom of the bottle, much easier.
