Great idea
Richly made. I don't use the thought provoking prompts at all, but saw this at a store and fell in love with the retro look of it.I bought one to keep a record of my 3 year olds growth (I had to back track it since I got it when she was already 2 which is hard!). Year 1 is when she was born, and it should complete when she's 4, as the year 1 is when she was born (0 year of age). I am getting another one to complete her childhood diary, which should end at age 9. For someone who can never seem to keep a diary, a line a day (actually a very short few lines a day) is an ideal setting. And it's nice to be able to see what she is today, and how she was a year (or two, or three) ago today.Paper quality is also good, and after a few years it's holding up well. Highly recommended for a new mother (or father)!

I ADORE THIS!! BUY IT
My daughter gave me one of these. Its fabulous. Every morning I have my coffee and open this book. Each page has a question on it, and it has lines for me to write in this year, and for the next 4 years.! Im 8 months through the book, and so bought this one for my daughter :) shh don't tell, she will get it for Christmas. I can't wait to re read this in 5 years, to see my answers from this year, and next year ...

Cute, a nice addition to any time of daily self-reflection!
I'm nearing the end of year three in this adorable little journal. If you're looking for a small book that will add five minutes (or less) of daily self-reflection into your routine, this is a great option. The prompts range from short and simple to more thought-provoking. I like this book a lot, it's definitely FASCINATING to see how your answers change or stay the same from year to year. I've even fallen behind a few times and was able to catch up without feeling guilty about my answers not being fully accurate. Gilded edges are a lovely touch to the design. Each page includes a short prompt at the top with the date (month/day), followed by five spaces for you to fill in the year number and your written answer. The only downside to this book is its durability. The spine begins to show obvious signs of use fairly early on and while my book is still holding together well for now, I can't promise that it will be fully intact by the end of the five-year period. Another downside would be the amount of space for answering the prompts, however, I'm okay with less space because it keeps the sizing of the book down. I've taken my book on several trips, and I appreciate its lightweight and small size.

Great Lil journal! Love this!
Some reason i can't upload a picture!! Love this, although i do wish there was more space to write. It's more so just a journal to look back and see how things changed by year and for memories, so it's pretty cool! And it's very well put together! Smaller than what i expected, but it's nice bc is easy to pack up while traveling!

great cover
Sometimes I wish for a little more writing space but an additional notebook takes care of that. The short time it takes to fill out the space in the book keeps me writing every night which is just what I need

beautiful
this is a really pretty book. I bought a couple and gifted one to my 18 year old niece who was so happy with it. There's enough room to write a short paragraph a day. The sides of the pages are gold so it looks pretty and old world. The prompts are well thought out. Nothing too far fetched. The quality is lovely.

Ok format, Not a Fan of the Prompts
I've been writing in Q&A Q&A a Day: 5-Year Journal for the past five years and just finished. I decided to try a different journal to shake things up. I picked this one. While I'm going to keep doing it, the prompts just aren't as interesting as the ones in Q&A (I flipped through and read quite a bit of them). I often go off the cuff and ignore the prompt anyway, but these prompts are just not inspiring. They are just uninteresting and tedious. They really seem more aimed at a tween or maybe teen than an adult.

I Love This!
I enjoy writing in this book because it always gives me something to look forward to. I personally like to fill my out at the end of the day, in case something interesting happens, but then other times, I can't wait and I start as soon as I get my day started. It's a great idea and I am looking forward to reading my answers over the years.

Compact so I can take it anywhere with me. Fits in my handbag
I write in this journal every night. I like the fact that you have 5 spaces on each page to document daily events. Every day of every year you can read what you did on the same day the previous year.

Fun!
Makes me really excited to wake up and write a new entry. Some questions are a bit basic and predictable, but if you are consistent for 5 years you will have a nice collection of memories to look back at for ever!
