Best of the pulsometer watches I've tried
I have three pulsometer watches, and this is the best of the lot. The first pulsometer watch I bought cost about $650.00. It is awesome and has some very cool features, but the strap wore out and I cannot get a replacement since the company doesn't seem to sell replacement straps (!!!) and only that company's straps will fit the watch. So that is a lot of money down the drain, as I can no longer use that watch. The second pulsometer watch I bought is ok, but the numbers on it are tiny and squished, and the design of the watch face is not so great. Now this watch. The price is ok. The strap is good, seems durable, no problems so far. AND I can replace the strap later on if it ever does wear out. I like the design of the watch face. Pulsometer watches tend to come in two varieties: 30-beat timers, or 15-beat timers. So you either count 30 of the patient's heart beats, then see the corresponding number on the watch, or you count 15 beats, then see the corresponding number. The advantage of the 30-beat pulsometers is that the little numbers around the outside of the watch are easier to read, as they are not so squished together and super tiny. The disadvantage of the 30 second pulsometers is that you can only start timing when the big hand is at the top or the bottom of the watch. This is a 30-beat pulsometer. Because this watch's 'result' numbers go more than half way around the watch, you can only start timing a patient's pulse when the sweep hand is at the number 12 position at the very top of the watch. In one way this is a disadvantage, because you might have to wait most of a minute to get the hand in the starting position. But this is also an advantage, because the little numbers around the outside of the watch (the numbers that indicate your patient's pulse rate) are better spaced, and thus easier to read. So this is the best of the pulsometer watches I have found, and I like it a lot. I wear it every day. Several of my medical colleagues like it enough that they have now ordered this watch as well. If I could change one thing about this watch, I would make the little red 'result' numbers bigger. I probably need to get a new pair of glasses in order to see little things better. Even so, I like this watch.

Perfect watch for every day use.
This watch is perfect for every day use. I had previously ordered the smaller face but returned it because it was too small and got this one instead. The date is a little small but the watch face is perfect. The only time I take it off is when I take a shower, just to play it safe, however I do wear it when I bathe my dogs and it does get pretty wet, but no problem. I love the color of the silicone band and its very comfortable. I barely know that it’s on.

Awesome!!
I have bought 3 watches in the last year and all have things I hate, I expected the same with this one, but boy was I wrong! This is so comfortable, the band, size and weight. I am rough on watches but this one has not scratched even though it IS getting run thru the ringer. Reallllly love this watch and glad my search is over.

Good watch but hard to read pulse feature
Nice watch for a nurse. However, the red numbers for using the pulse feature are too small to read easily. The date function is also small especially for double digit dates. I am keeping the watch due to comfort and ease of reading the nice size face.

Wristband broke in less than 6 months.
I used this watch for work as a RN, and initially loved it and got compliments on it. But in less than 6 months, the wristband has broke. UPDATE: The company was quick to replace the watch. Overall, I like the durability of the watch face and the wristband is easy to clean. It's simple and elegant, I definitely like wearing it better than the digital watches I formerly have had. And with great customer service, that alone is worth five stars.

Looks good
I made a present of this, these opinions are of the recipient Attractive Pulsometer scale is really tiny Date window is tiny as well Keeps good time Battery died 2 days after I gave it to her. Now we all know batteries die, but so soon? This make me sure these were in inventory a LONG time. Strap is nice, it and the watch stand up to vigorous up-to-the-elbow washing. Luminescence is OK, but just OK Overall, it's middle of the road

Cute watch!
Great watch! Love the look of it and how easy it is to read! Only thing that I don’t like is the band. It sticks to your skin when you get sweaty and the little straps used to hold the excess down slip causing it to come loose and snag.
