Replacement Cable Compatible with Hifiman HE4XX, HE-400i (the Latest Version with Dual 3.5mm Plug) Headphones 3.5mm & 6.35mm to Dual 3.5mm Jack Male Cord 2m/6.6ft

Recently I have purchased a couple of new pairs of headphones, the KEF Space One and the HiFiMan Sundara and so I immediately changed the cables of both. The stock cables sounded fine but in my desktop set-up I found them both to be lacking in length. In the case of this cable I am using them with the Sundara and it's perfect. So I'm not a guy who wishes to spend a ton of cash on cables because I don't personally buy into the idea of the value. If you spend a good deal of your budget on a headphone, would it make much sense to think the manufacturer would cheap out on the cable so much that the buyer would hate the headphone? I don't care what anyone else chooses to do with their money but as a 59 year old I just have never been able to hear a difference even when sitting in high end listening room listening to thousands of dollars worth of gear and cabling. So all that being said, this inexpensive cable covers all the bases for me. It's the perfect length, it sounds as good as the shorter stock cable and it doesn't get all janked up; it remains straight. I also like the fact that the termination which plugs into phone/laptop/portable DAC is straight as opposed to right angle. I have a similar cable made by another company which I use with my Sennheiser HD600 with the proprietary plugs to the ear cups but I think this cable is a bit better constructed. If you listen to a lot of music on headphones and wish to upgrade the cable for whatever reason then by all means purchase what your budget can support and enjoy your purchase, but if you're like me and just needs a longer cable, or maybe need a replacement, this one will do the job just fine. I highly recommend it because it does the job well and won't break the bank.

I bought this cable for my Arya Organic headphones. It was recommended by a reviewer who had many other more expensive cables. I have several cables myself and this one for the Arya Organic is really good. I tried the Tripowin Gran Via 4.4 balanced too. It has a big Soundstage but treble was bright and bass was significantly decreased. The 2nd best cable was the original from hifiman but it's too short and it's too stiff. The Neomusica cable is the perfect balance for my setup. I just wish they'd come out with a balanced 4.4mm offering. Topping Windows PC (exclusive mode)>Cayin RU7 1bit dac>A30pro>Neomusica cable>Arya Organic. It sounds soooo good. I know some people say that you can't hear a difference between cables but the Arya reveals all.

Works perfect, longer length than the stock HE-4xx cable, maybe does not "feel" as good material wise. Seems to be of higher quality, no difference in sound of course. If your HE-4xx started having the cable short out shortly after you bought them like mine did, then this is a great drop-in replacement. The plasticky Y splitter feels a little tacky, and so does the strange mesh on the cable (It does not feel like paracord, much thinner and more plasticky/nylon feeling). Overall seems to be a better cable. Make sure you get the 3.5mm version for HE-4xx from Drop/Massdrop

I am using this on my Hifiman HE5 SE. Despite Hifiman's claims, the stock cable does not drape well and forms coils and loops that defy gravity and suspend themselves in mid air. Hifiman needs to go a different route with the stock cables already. This Neomusica cable drapes nicely and seems to be of good quality for the price. I can't tell any difference in the sound of this cable from the stock cable. Recommend.

Not much to review. Solid wires and work. Dont believe the BS about expensive cables. People who spend hundreds on cables are delusional and there's studies done where they compared them against coat hangs in a double blind and the hangers came out ahead. Every blind study done has shown there's no difference in sound quality between 20 and 2000 dollar cables.

Pretty below average quality cord, mainly due to the cord jacket's tendency to twist coil up over time. I also assume the wire gauge is below average here. I generally would expect more than a couple of years of use for a quality aftermarket cable, even when its used regularly.

This very affordable cable solves a problem: Hifiman HE400 headphones come with a short cable that's fine for personal devices but too short for listening with a home stereo (you have to move your chair up next to the amp). But I don't recommend it, except for folks who are on very tight budgets, because in my opinion it doesn't sound as good as the stock cable. I really wanted to love this cable. I really don't like sitting immediately next to my amp when listening to the home stereo with my Hifiman HE400i's. And I didn't want to pay $100 or more for "audiophile" grade replacement cables. These Neomusicia cables seemed like the perfect answer. And they don't look cheap, their look and build quality is worthy of Hifiman headphones. But when I got them, I noticed right away the sound quality didn't seem quite as good as with the stock cables - the difference was not night and day, but noticeable. So I did careful A/B comparisons between the two cables. In my opinion, this Neomusicia cable doesn't sound quite as good. Is that really a surprise? No. The price I paid was just $20. The only way they could make a profit at that price would be by using lower quality wiring than what is used in the stock Hifiman cables. Like you, I did careful research on headphones and decided it was worth paying extra for excellent Hifiman HE400 series headphones when I could have saved a few dollars and purchased a respectable and good (but not great) sounding pair of mass market headphones. So I'm not going to cheap out on the cable. Yes, I know that better cables are going to cost me more, and I just shelled out $450 for my HE400i's. But I'd rather sit close to my amp until I can afford nicer cables than essentially throw away $20. Bottom line: I recommend these only for people who are cash-constrained and/or not super picky about sound quality - which is probably nobody who has paid the price for an excellent pair of headphones like the HE400 series. But you don't have to believe me. Try them for yourself. You might be perfectly happy with these--lots of other reviewers are. I would be happy to be wrong here, I'd rather pay $20 than $100 or more. Give them a careful audition in home. You're only risking the cost of return shipping. Good luck.

These fit my Hifiman Ananda's perfectly. The stock Hifiman cables are too stiff and constantly get in the way. These cables are relaxed and very nice quality considering the price. There's no sound difference I can discern. Definitely recommend if you don't want to buy the expensive snake oil cables.
