TEAM MAGNUS Snow skis for Kids as Used by USA Nordic – Adjust to All Boot Sizes for Skills & Fun

For smaller children who are putting these on at the top of a little hill to slide down, these would probably be ok. They do seem pretty sturdy. For an older teen-size kid to tool around the back yard, not so much. It is awkward when your feet won't fit inside the ridges--I think shoes would probably fit inside the ridges up to about a youth size 3 (ladies size 5?). For a women's size 7 boot, they partially ride up onto the shoe-holding ridges and are awkward. However, we'd probably be able to use them if they had some sort of pattern imprinted on the bottom. The bottoms are so smooth that they are EXTREMELY slippery. When I was testing them out I leaned down to tighten the straps and they went right out from under me. Some sort of ridges or skin on the bottom would make a big difference. We wanted to love them, but will probably return.

Very good option for kids to play in the backyard. My son found it very comfortable to use it, quick to put straps on and remove. Because of easiness, he is using this almost regularly outside whenever its snowing. Even if its less snow outside, he can ski easily from uphill.Also, this product seems to be good quality and perfect for kids to use it. I think my son will be expert on this soon and good to go for real skiing in the ski areas.I would recommend "TEAM MAGNUS Snow skis for Kids" this product to everyone who would like to get into skiing and get a good feel and enjoy skiing in the backyard or from small uphill's. I have added short video to give you some feel. Slope was small but still you can see how easy it is for kids to use it.Thank you to USA Nordic & Ski Jumping Federation for making such a good product with low cost which everyone can afford!

Our twins had a lot of fun with these. They practiced on a relatively flat surface and were able to get the basics of balance and simple technique. They had a lot of fun with them and were able to balance and slide within 10 minutes of use. This seems like a great product for teaching young kids. The heal strap was a bit tricky — admittedly I didn’t look at the instructions until afterwards.

1) bindings work, if you follow directions and string them tight2) plastic ridge is a problem holds boot up allows boot to move and impacts 1) aboveProduct would be much improved with a boot toe ridge that stopped the toe from slipping forward, with the side ridges eliminated. Over all you can make them work, and work well for smaller feet. For larger feet you will need to adjust the skis a bit more. The second improvement is to change the mold for the bottom of the skis and add a cross country fish scale pattern. As currently designed the skis are too slippery and this can result in avoidable falls it the buttons had some one way grip.All that said to can get a 4-8 year old skiing on these and having fun. With the two changes above these are worth 2x the current price as it is they are a reasonable deal.

Less expensive and convenient way to get kids acclimatized to skis. Fits right on to kids snow boots.Not as easy to put the skis on as I hoped though, and the plastic is a little less sturdier than I imagined as well - which makes the skis stick and slip a little bit down the hill for my 8 year old.Still - good fun!

Bought these in Red and were very beautiful! Best part is to use them no snow is required you can glide on a frosty surface which has been amazing in a snow less winter. Been very popular among the family during the Christmas break making a lot of happy memories. Very sturdy product that is capable of taking some bumps and bruises without damage. Would highly recommend for those who enjoy a bit of outdoor fun.

We are having problems fitting the straps to stay on the four year old's feet. Buckles are very awkward to work with in freezing cold and snow. Haven't been successful in getting them to stay on so far.

I ordered these skis for my 5 yr old son and we got to test them out this week with our 7 yr old neighbor! (Pics to come with next snow) We ordered and received orange skis very quickly, way before the estimated ship date! They are short but a perfect width, light weight (didn’t even know it was them when I picked up the box) but durable. The boot straps adjust to fit any size shoe/boot, but were a little tricky to adjust at first. Once we got the hang of it, they were fine. I am 5ft, 130lbs and I will be trying them out during our next snow! Great product to start your kids out skiing or just to have fun!

Simply brilliant for beginners or competent skiers. I bought these for my granddaughters who want to learn to ski but sometimes lose interest quickly. Rather than buy hundreds of pounds worth to "see if they like skiing" I got these. They are really well made, are simple to fit onto sturdy boots or shoes, are adjustable and are quick and easy to put on or take off. Being so short you can leave them in the boot of the car all year round and if or when an opportunity arrives you can chuck them on and have some fun. Being short they give confidence but are not so long that a downhill speed record is likely, they allow training for snowploughing and general turns but most of all inspire balance and confidence. For the price and quality it's a no brainer. I ordered mine then immediately wanted to change the colour. An email was sent and replied to in about 6 minutes and I was kept informed of every movement until a few days later when they were delivered. I cannot fault the company not the ordering process in any way.

The skis are easy to put on and are durable but... With skiing, the boots are rigid. It means that when you mean back the rigidity of the boots and the skis keeps you from falling back. With these skis the boots and buckles are not that rigid to stop you from falling back so it is more like ice skating rather than skiing. With ice skating you tend to do it on a flat surface. So trying to do it down hill is really a challenge. These need to have rigid boots :( in my humble opinion.

ordered these ahead of the winter as the kids had a couple of goes on them last winter when out with friends. They're really fun, instead of always grabbing the sledge out of the shed this winter, the skis will get to go along too - for mucking about, practising balance, and generally squealing with delight as the whizz down the sledging slopes with their pals. They're not trying to pretend to be a replacement to proper skis, but they are a whole lot of fun, they're light and small and easy for kids to carry them to the park or wherever. I got a few different colours and am going to gift them to my nieces and nephew this Christmas too.

Bought for messing about in the infrequent British snow these are great to throw in the car and head out snow seeking. Next time I’ll look for grass rather than a hard surface under the snow as I gave myself whiplash from falling repeatedly. A bit of a change from skis, that’s for sure! Don’t expect to pick this up quickly!I’m a size 8 shoe and they fit fine over my boots. (Anyone with larger boots will probably find they’re too narrow.) The plastic and straps are sturdy and seem durable. I look forward to more snow next year to work on my technique.

Unexpected snow and a backyard that slopes ever so slightly and these fabulous mini-skis that can be strapped around any shoe makes for a lot of fun! Great item to keep around for those few and far between times we get snow that sticks.
