Easy to install and looks great. Only thing I wish it DID have is dusk to dawn.

Had to replace an outdated, cookie-cutter outdoor light fixture and found this modern option with a built-in dusk-to-dawn sensor and adjustable light flaps. Installation was a easy, and the build quality feels solid. The dramatic design adds a bold, updated look to the space—such a big improvement over the old fixture. Highly recommend if you’re looking for style, function, and easy setup all in one.

This is a tough product to review. It is a very cool light, but the installation is so horrible, it detracts from everything. They want you to install circular mounting plate on your installation box and then somehow use screws with nuts in the box to mount the mounting plate to the box. IMO there is no possible way to do that. I just drilled holes through the mounting plate and used longer screws to screw into the mounting box. There is a gasket in the mounting plate to seal between the mounting plate and the fixture - there is no apparent way to get it to stay in the intended channel. Then there is a grommet in the mounting plate to run a nice pigtail through the mounting plate into the box. Once you run the pigtail through the grommet, the grommet will unseat and then there is NO way to get it back into the hole. Lastly on install - there are 4 screws that hold the fixture to the mounting plate. The entire light is black - what color are the screws? They are silver and you can see them. Why? And there is a rectangular plate that blocks a screwdriver from working on the screw head from straight on - so you are angled into the screw. Come on guys - either change the geometry or allow the front plate to come off so you can access those screw heads. Once you are done you feel a relief that you actually got it done, but you are also upset that someone could sell a product like this. Then you wonder if they installed it themselves and thought it was OK. The good news is the light is super cool, it is mall and looks great. I really hope they look at their installation and make some changes. First some depth behind the mounting plate would go a long way to easing the install. Right now it requires a dead flat surface to mount to. Investigate the install and make sure you are OK with installing this thing before you buy it.

We installed smart switches (Lutron Caseta) throughout our home and our old fixture was incompatible. After reading the reviews on this fixture I took a gamble, hoping this LED would work with our switches. It does! I also installed this fixture on my own and it was the first time I've done any electrical work outside of plugging things in. After initially switching the fixture on, my wife and I both commented on how yellow the light looks but upon turning around and seeing our neighbors outdoor lights, yellow seems to be the color to go for. Our personal preference would be for a more white light which would be the only slight complaint about this fixture. Its definitely worth the money and it arrived the day after I purchased it, even with all of the COVID delays which was a nice surprise. We've also received more than a few comments on the fixture from our neighbors who all loved it. Would definitely purchase again if we had another outdoor fixture to replace.

*UPDATE - Product failed within two months of use. Garbage.* While the light quality is pretty good (a bit yellow for 3000k), even the 6W version is quite bright at night, making it unfortunate that the product does not dim. Amazon description used to note dimming, but language has been updated since my purchase, which is very frustrating. Also, while the lights are inexpensive, they are difficult to install. Mounting to standard j-box and exterior light block requires significant modifications to the light block (these were installed by a master electrician). For me, this increased the overall price significantly. I would not buy them again.

First the "pros". It is a cute light. It isn't too bright, since it's really a sconce style light. Most lighting fixtures in the US have either a round, square, or hex electrical box. This light will not work super-easily with any of the three. Where I wanted to put it had a hex box. I had to drill holes in the electrical box cover to match the light. Then I had to epoxy nuts to back side of the electrical cover. Then I had to make a shim to put under the light to make room for the screws that hold the electrical box cover on. Also, the gasket that's supposed to seal the back of the fixture from water doesn't really work, so I left it out. Installing a light should be easy. This was not.

Lasted two years and broken with 5-6 hours daily usage

Beautiful. But not easy to install. Pay attention to place the gasket correctly to prevent infiltration.
