Q: What are the small parts? I'm thinking of this for my 1.5yo

well small as in the rings for the stick. i think it is to small for a 1 year old since it isn't a developmental toy for infants. it's more of a 6-7 year old so they can learn about magnets... I use it more for fidgetting
