You have to make sure that as soon as you get the hose you stretch it out so that it is not coiled. The longer you leave it coiled or let it coil the harder it becomes to try and stretch it out. Sill can't quite get the kinks/coils out of the one that we had left coiled for a couple months.That being said it works pretty well. WE have wrapped the hose with the pool noodle like insulation to help prevent freezing. It isn't quite working as well as we would like but that just means we need a different solution as temp's dip further. However, with that insulation we have driven over the one section of the hose many times and it has not been a problem!The taste, even with the purifier, was "hose" like for a few weeks and then well dealing with well water so it may not be the hose's fault completely. However, there was for the while a decent scent to the water.Overall, we are using this plus an additional 50 ft hose to run water to our camper and it mostly seems to be working.

Works well all the seals where there but when the hose was layed out it was 11" short of being 75'.

Hose was great in terms of not having a taste after running water through it. However it kinked the first time just unrolling it and now it is permanently kinked. So much for spending the extra money for that feature.

Great drinking hose which leaves the water tasting great! Note that with prolonged exposure to the SUN and HEAT the water can take on a plastic taste, so make sure hose is not exposed to direct sun or too much heat. (Probably not recommended for long term use, but for short term - this is an excellent choice!)

Second time I purchased this product and the second one's fittings are leaking at both ends. The other hose is 5 years old and needed replaced because the SW FL sun burned the hose (always left outside so these hoses could take a beating from the sun). Seems like quality control is more relaxed as those fittings on the ends leak and the female doesn't twist freely anymore (the second hose is kept in the garage out of the sun on a very nice hose cart)

Camco potable water safe hose is USA made, a great value and well made. I'd buy it again.

The hose is very sturdy but is susceptible to kinks. The hose is also very difficult to roll up (because it it sturdy). The hose doesn’t seem to change the taste of the water. Additionally, with this hose I had to change out the rubber O ring before the first use because there was leaking at the spigot, changing the O ring resolved the issue.We ordered this hose to use with our rv, it didn’t work well for use so we keep it as a back up hose in case of an emergency. We now use a zero-g hose that works much better for us.

The Hose (male end) gets a 3 but the customer service deserves a 10.Used the hose for pressure water supply to our boat. It's a rugged hose and works great without adding a rubber or plastic taste to the water. Unfortunately after a year the brass male end, that is actually made with two pieces of brass or brass plated ?? began to leak between the hose crimped side and the male threaded side. GREAT news is I looked up my order on Amazon (very easy to search) contacted the manufacturer and although the warranty had expired, they're sending me a new hose at NO-CHARGE!! Have had trouble before with things purchased on Amazon and they seem to like it when for what ever reason the warranty or return window has expired. NOT THIS TIME, I was treated very well and do appreciate the service and support! Uncommon Customer SERVICE! Thank you Rick at Camco!

Kinks all the time, hard to roll up, Leah’s uncontrollably out of hose attachment end. Don’t waste your money on this item
