Perfect for it's appropriate use and appearance.
Perfect for tying on the handles of my store's paper bags--together with some colored ribbon, gives it a rustic look. I also like it because it does not have a synthetic plastic look or feel. Therefore, it may not be perfect for actually tying large boxes--but that's not what it's intended for. I also use it to tie the hand-painted price tags on my merchandise--no plastic bullets for me.I don't know what else it can be used for--for personal gifts too I suppose. I tie the French soaps as they are (not put them in a bag) which I give away to my home guests and store customers--looks like a small gift box.

The ribbon was exactly what I expected. Worked out perfectly for the keepsakes I made for my brothers memorial. I tied the 3 colors to small American flags......he was in the Navy. They turned out very nice.

Crocheting is slower and can be tiring on fingers and hands, but don't give up
On my first attempt, making a bag, the raffia was hard to work with. sore hands and fingers as there's is no stretch. My tension was all over the place. I pulled it out after a couple of weeks needing time for my hands and fingers to recover.I decided to give it another go.and, so far so good...This raffia is pretty good. I've bought 3 rolls so far, hoping this will complete my project

Just what I needed
I bought it to wrap around a lamp shade. It looks fab and I’m really pleased. Lots left for the next project too. Just need to find a project.

The best raffia ever
Now folks, yes this is great crafting ribbon- BUT it is THEE best raffia for tying up your tomatoes and cucumber plants in the greenhouse etc. FANTASTIC!
