এই বইটি কেনার আগে কিছু জিনিস মাথায় রাখা উচিত তা হলো। প্রথমত : কোনরকম নীতিগত তাৎপর্য নেই। অর্থাৎ আমরা জানি চাণক্য নীতি সংস্কৃত থেকে অনুবাদ করে বিভিন্ন ভাষায় এসেছে, তাই আমরা যেহেতু বাংলা বই কিনছি আমাদের সংস্কৃত থেকে শুধু অনুবাদ হলে হবে না আমাদের তার সংস্কৃত শ্লোকের অর্থ কি, চাণক্য দেব কি বোঝাতে চেয়েছেন সেটা জানা আমাদের অত্যন্ত দরকার। যেটা এই বই থেকে আমরা কিন্তু সম্পূর্ণভাবে পাবোনা। এখানে বেশিরভাগ ক্ষেত্রে আমি লক্ষ্য করেছি এখানে শুধুমাত্র অনুবাদ করা হয়েছে কিন্তু তার আক্ষরিক অর্থ কি বোঝাতে চেয়েছেন সেটা কিন্তু এখানে ভালোভাবে বোঝানো হয়নি বেশিরভাগ ক্ষেত্রে আমি এটা লক্ষ্য করেছি। দ্বিতীয়তঃ কিছু কিছু ক্ষেত্রে আমি লক্ষ্য করেছি যে এখানে কিছু অনুবাদ বা বিশ্লেষণ ভুল রয়েছে। তাই আমি বলব যারা সত্যি কারের বইটির অর্থ বোঝার জন্য বইটি কিনতে চেয়েছেন শুধুমাত্র বাড়িতে ফেলে রাখার জন্য নয় তারা একটু দাম দিয়ে বা একটু ভালো বই কিছু খুঁজে পড়ার চেষ্টা করুন তাতে সুবিধা হবে। আমার মতো গুগল থেকে তার অর্থ বের করে পড়তে হবে না।
