A Lot Done With So Little
If you weren't alive in the late 70s, you had to wait until MTV brought over "The Young Ones" from British TV in the mid-late 80s. It's amazing what they did in only 13 episodes. Monty Python on cocaine, perhaps. For those of us stationed in the UK back then, the humor just hit a chord, then we passed it on to our kids. The book is disgusting -- be warned. Disgusting, but still funny.

The People's Poet! Violence! Lentils!
Boy oh boy, does this bring back some fun memories of my college years watching 'The Young Ones' on MTV late Sunday nights. One of the most hilariously ridiculous programs I've ever seen - I love those guys. RIP Rik Mayall, aka 'Neil'.

This book is fun
This book reminded me of how much fun The Young Ones were. I remember how excited I would get every Sunday night because the Young Ones were coming on MTV. This book captures the true essence of the show and the genius of Rik, Neil and Vivian (I always felt Mike was an unnecessary character). There are puzzles, games and ridiculous stories that every fan will want to read over and over again. Thank you for reigniting my fascination with this wonderful show!! I cannot wait til my son is old enough to appreciate it.
