Great light
Purchased approximately 8 of these and installed around the perimeter of our commercial building the light effect is great. Provides more than enough light. Great durability with no related issues.

Good for my small (10'x10') front porch
Very solid product, all cast alumimum with stainless hardware. The mounting hole pattern did not fit my fixture box from 1960 but I was able to drill a couple more holes in the supplied flange to make it work. Most light goes straight down but some goes to sides. Good for my small (10'x10') front porch. Not sure why so expensive. Fortunately I was able to buy used from Amazon returns store for $60.

No photo cell but work well with Z-Wave switches & Wink system
These are fantastic lights and look great - the only thing that would make them better would be a photo-eye for dusk-to-dawn operation. Then it would be a 5-star slam dunk. (Honestly, I'd give it 4.75 stars if I could as that feature isn't worth -1 star.) We almost returned these because we NEED dusk to dawn (one other site said they had that feature, but they do not). The instructions say they will not work with any dimmers, timers or light sensors - but we assumed they hadn't tried Z-Wave switches. So we worked with our electrician and put them on Leviton Z-Wave on/off switches. We can control those with our Wink home automation system which allows them to be put on a timer. We took it a step further and hooked them into IFTTT.com with WEATHER as the trigger. So if WEATHER = sunrise, then WINK SHORTCUT (for these lights) = off; if WEATHER = 15 minutes before sunset, then WINK SHORTCUT (for these lights) = on. Tested it last night and it worked flawlessly. We will have 9 of these on our house with the 4 in front on all night and the others on as needed, but not all night as they would shine on neighbors' houses.

Not good!
When I got the item the front was all scratched like it had been used before. Then when I hooked it up the light did not work at all.

Fantastic lamp, given current LED technology. Expect cold colored light however
Provides an exceptional amount of light. Unfortunately the light is very cold due to LED color. If you are going to buy this lamp make sure you buy the one with lights on top and bottom. I have had numerous neighbors ask about it. The only way it could be improved is if it sensed nighttime and daytime
