I live in an apartment with very little natural light coming in through the windows. I saw this type of light on YouTube, used by DIY-ers to brighten a dark apartment. So I bought this item and taped the light strips all around the frames of my window and behind the couch, and it really gives the room the appearance of daylight coming in; this is very psychologically satisfying all day long as it gives the sense of daylight coming in. A few notes: (1) I had an issue with one of the lights, and I contacted the company; their customer service is excellent and solved all my problems quickly and with kindness; (2) the lights are amazingly lightweight and thus delicate, so handle them carefully when you install!; (3) the back of the lights have a peel-off cover, under which is the adhesive; the adhesive is not industrial-strength (this is good because otherwise it would rip the paint off your wall when you remove it!), be careful and GO SLOW when you remove the peel-off tape, so that you do not also remove the adhesive strip from the LED strip itself; and, (4) when you are putting the lights up on a vertical wall or a ceiling, I recommend you add a narrow piece of packing tape across the LED strip every foot or so to make sure the LED strip and adhesive stays in place; (5) you cannot separately purchase an extension cord to add between the two light strips, so plan your installation carefully befoe removing the adhesive and sticking then to your walls! Anyway, if you get these LED strips and CAREFULLY apply them to your room, I believe you will have a good experience at a great price. I am pleased with this purchase!!

The Led light strips are very easy to install. The Strip has a 3M adhesive backing for sticking up just about anywhere. I am going to run them up the side of my stairwell in my house. The are bright, and can even change colors if you have a remote (not enclosed). I did not get a remote in my package, but i am thinking that it may be an additional accessory. I am very pleased at how bright and luminous they are. The strip is very bendable and can be connected to just about anywhere and around corners and such. If the tap does not hold, you can always use a staple gun to hold the strip down. I would recommend doing that so when and if the adhesive stops sticking it won't fall. I would put a staple every 2-3 feet. The package came with a dimmer control and two 16.5ft reels of the LED strip lights. The other cool thing is that the light strip has cut groves through out it. If you only need a certain amount you can cut along the designated cut areas marked with two gold vertical lines that are parallel to each other. These lights can be used to put behind a TV display to give it a cool wash effect or in a bedroom, or den to give a nice warm ambiance effect.

We've tried many variations of battery lights in this closet but when I saw this BINZET LED strip I had to get a role. My wife is thrilled by the results. Her only complaint? She's going to have to dust in there now because everything's so visible... Before you try this at home, you might notice there's a plug at the bottom of the closet. I had to install that before considering this LED strip, so unless you have power in your closet, or if you're handy enough to figure out how to get power into a space like this, putting this strip light in a closet won't do you much good unless you can plug them in. There's two additions I got when I purchased the BINZET LED Strip Light, a dimmer and a door switch, so when you open the door the lights automagically come on, conversely when you close the door they go off. I have to say that's really handy. Plus, at night I don't like the lights too bright so I've got them turned down with the dimmer about 30%, it's just right. I have to say I don't have any complaints about this BINZET LED Strip Light. It was very easy to install. You peal back the paper on the adhesive (very strong, tacky adhesive) and tape it to the surface you're wanting to illuminate. I did wash down the inside of the door jam and let it dry for a few hours before installing the lights. Once in place, for me it was a matter of connecting the door switch with the dimmer to the power supply that's included that was the most difficult part. Once that was sorted these lights just work I've had experience with other LED lights that they hum a little when you dim them, not these. They're quite. Another note, I thought the 6500K temperature was going to be too stark but they aren't, for this application it works quite well. Having casually worked with electronics for years the idea of cutting the LED strip just didn't seem right to me but with the LED Connector Kit that I purchased separately I was able to make the connection I needed without a problem. What a handy product.

One of these was broken and stopped working almost immediately. They also don't connect with plug connectors, so be advised. Not covered by any sort of protective material either, like a clear coating of silicone which I've seen in the past. They do have a bright enough light for what I wanted. Skipped using the adhesive as it felt flimsy enough with the protective backing. The dimmer was fully functional and worked with a replacement 12v cord I used as the one included was too short.

These are good for a short time. The problem is that their flimsy and the adhesive is not very strong. So when they fall repeatedly because of the adhesive, it weakens the connection to the power plug. Eventually, they no longer work. If you're going to have this inside in a temperature-controlled room, you shouldn't have any trouble. Unfortunately, it just doesn't fit my needs. The light is really bright and the dimmer switch is great. I wish it would have worked out for me.

I needed more light at my desk but had nowhere to put a lamp or hang anything of true permanence. So after purchasing these lights a few months ago, I saw them as the perfect fit for some back-glow around the rear perimeter of my desk. Setup is very easy, everything plugs in where you would expect and mounts with ease. You can get more involved with cable management but since I was just attaching it to the back of the desk and mounting the switch underneath, I saw no need to really hide the wires (since they would already be mostly obscured from view). The first few days of use were fine and operated as expected. Then one night when I went to shut them off, something odd happened. The module for the brightness controller stopped working, per say. When you went to dim/shut them off, after the click, they resumed to maximum brightness, even though they were set to off. I unplugged them, changed outlets, checked connections, even opened the control box to see if anything came unsoldered or fried. Nothing. I messaged Sincollc (the seller) and got a great reply back. They were sending me out a new module dimmer switch at no cost to me. A few days later, I received a brand new unit, not just a controller, but a whole new switch, lights, plug, everything (again at no cost to me). I scrapped the old controller and swapped in the new one and viola, it works perfectly. I have no doubts that when I go to purchase another unit in the future, that these guys will be the first I go to.

The lights died an hour after turning them on. To be honest, i’m just glad this cheap junk didn’t start a fire. Don't waste your money, you time installing it... or risk your household. Bad quality is one thing, but when it comes to electrical equipment - don't take chances with cheap junk. I wasted an hour installing it, and the adhesive is very week and bare attached to a smooth metal surface - I had to use Scotch tape to keep it in place.. I was willing to overlook the weak adhesive - but after it burned out in just under an hour - I decided to write a review to warn the rest of you. This is junk - that's why they are now selling it at $10 as I am writing this.... BUYER BEWARE...
