Automatic Cat Feeder Timed Programmable Auto Pet Dog Feeder Food Dispenser for Kitten Puppy | Dry Portion Control Up to 4 Meals/Day,Voice Recording,Battery and Plug-in Power

I bought this automatic feeder for my cat as he has a history of over eating while I was away on a trip, even for a day. Pet sitter charges $15 per visit so an automatic feeder would save me some money so that I don't have to pay two visits per day. I like it that you can record your voice to alert the cat for dinner. The portion control is very precise and range from 1-40. I personally think it can be just from 1-10, for a cat, as anything above 10 is too much anyway. The control is very easy to understand and operate. You can set up 4 meals per day at different times. The feeder has dual power - 3 big battery or USB with an adapter. I tested it and made sure if cat knocked off the USB outlet, the battery will automatically kicks in. It takes virtually no learning for the cat to associate this feeder with food. During my week long trip, my cat has't figured out a way to open up the cap to get the food inside. However, he did learn to reach his paw into the food dispenser which would result in a couple kibbles dropping into his bowl. It shouldn't be a concern though. I think this product works great with a remote camera, motorized water fountain with filters, automatic litter box (petsafe scoop-free), so that you can leave your cat at home for a couple of days while you are on a trip.

This is a true lifesaver! I have two cats and this is the second feeder I have purchased, not because the first one broke but just so each cat has it's own and one will always act as a backup when we travel. I've had my first one for about 2 years and it's worked flawlessly. Has given us the freedom to take long weekend trips with no one having to come check on the cats. Add a gravity flow water bottle and your cats are set!!! The only thing to complain on is the price increased in two years by $50.00 or so....guess that's life though.

We travel a lot and we leave our cat at home.We had an automatic feeder before (see the pic for comparison) but it worked on batteries only and we were always scared that it would stop when we are not around. This one however uses both batteries and electricity. It also, unlike our previous feeder has bigger bowl so our cat can eat comfortably. It is also heavier and holds more food (thus, even more heavier) so that it feels solid and neither our cat or vacuum robot moves the feeder accidentally!It is easy to clean the unit too because the bowl and container come off and it is also easy to program (way easier, you can figure out without reading the manual). Though, if your pet eats a lot, this may not be the option for you because there is only four separate feedings that you can setup. On the other hand, our older one had six but we only used two (morning and evening meals).

This is a great pet feeder. So far it has worked flawlessly. Portion controls are good especially if you have a cat. You can program up to four meals a day, and turn off certain meals if you don’t need that many. Have owned it for a month now and it is still working great. A little pricey but worth the money. You can also choose portion controls a little for a cat or a lot for a dog which is nice especially if your pet is on a diet.Update may 28 2020. Pet feeder is still going strong, absolutely no problems with this feeder. It has been nine months and I have to say I’m very impressed with this. You can have three meals a day plus add a fourth meal if you would like. No flaws has been working great would definitely buy again

The media could not be loaded.  Great feeder for my Maltipoo, able to control her portion sizes and the number of times she is fed. There are 4 feedings that you can set-Breakfast, lunch, dinner and late snack. The portion sizes range from 1-39 and are about 4 oz of dry food per setting. No food was caught in the feeder and perfect for small kibble for small dogs. The unit is easy to clean with an easy to remove feeder bowl that is top rack dishwasher safe. The food storage reservoir is also removable for cleaning too. In my opinion, the only con for this feeder is the voice recording function. The playback on the voice recording is a bit muffled but you have the option to turn off the voice function.

The feeder was exactly what I needed for my cat when we travel. Once I caught on to programming it, it was easy. I worried that the little sound it makes when it dispenses would frighten Penny, but she ignored it, mostly. We were gone for eight days and it dispensed food as programmed. I’m very pleased with it.

I had a little difficult time trying to convert kg to cups so I could choose the right serving size to feed my cat. I have a small to medium size pet. I chose level 3 to feed him. Other than that I love this product and I’m sure it should fed my cat on time.You should know it needs 3 D batteries not included.

Received this pet feeder quickly. Great feeder for my two furbabies. Easy to set up and plenty of storage space for the cat food. Love the ability to use batteries or plug in. Feeder is well made and seems durable. Only problem is that it doesn’t keep the food fresh. Lid isn’t airtight when it’s closed.

The media could not be loaded.  My dog will wake me up for food at 5am every day. I set the timer into 5am and record my voice to ask him to come for food. No more early wake up for me. My dog takes half cup size . It is around 7 portions. The container good for me for a week. 2 meals a day. However one thing Need to improve is the manual button. It only comes out one portion even I set 7 portion.

The feeder is super solid and cat tamper proof!There are 4 time slots you can program, you can program meal sizes (how many turns of food per meal) which works out since I have 2 cats. The tray is big enough for 2 cats to eat out of at the same time.There's a voice recorder to program a little message that plays each time the machine dispenses food.The cats initially tried to break into it for 3 days and couldn't get in. Now they just follow the meal timing like clock work. Love it!Machine is USB outlet powered or you can enter batteries for portability. There's a large basin to store food in so refilling the food doesn't have to be done often.I really enjoy having it in the household. Thanks!

This thing has allowed me to finally sleep past 5AM - the time when my cat would routinely wake me up for food. It's on time, every time, and serves up a consistent amount of food. I haven't had to use the 'sound summon' function, because the cat hears the food drop and knows immediately that it's time to eat.I will say this, it will take a cat a solid few weeks to finally understand what's going on. Once mine did, he almost comes to anticipate it and stands by the door with his door flap waiting to hear the sound. He no longer yells at me for food, which has added some much needed peace to my morning routine. Way to go!

The feeder works nicely. I bought two. One each for my cats. I set it up so that the timing is within seconds so that one cat is not waiting while the other one is eating. I noticed that the timing is off on one of the feeders. As the days go on, the timing between the two increases. I finally figured out how to reset it but is a pain having to do it every week. I would have given it a 5 star rating if not for this.It's nice to have the plug-in adaptor included, as I've read that other feeders don't have one.Being able to record your voice telling the kitties it's "yum yum" time is a nice feature and fun to watch them run to the feeder. It has helped during the night.The minimum amount it dispenses works for me.

This is by far the best purchase I have ever made. My cat loves it. Its hilarious to watch her when the feeder goes off. Like a bat out of hell she runs for the dish. No more bugging me at 5 am to get fed. We can go away for a few days and she is fed without issues. LOVE THIS PRODUCT
