Rugged Looks, Sneaker Comfort – Best Boots I’ve Owned
These boots are awesome! I was looking for a good slip-on boot that looked tough but was easy to wear, and this pair nailed it. They fit great right out of the box, and honestly feel like I’m wearing tennis shoes—no exaggeration. I usually have foot pain in most shoes after a few hours, but I can wear these all day long with zero discomfort. Stylish, rugged, and insanely comfortable—these are now my go-to boots. Pros: Slip-on convenience Rugged style Feels like wearing sneakers Great for all-day wear Cons: Honestly, none so far

Good, but rub my heel a bit (READ MY EDITED REVIEW!) (Second edits! more stars!)
These boots are pretty good. I was trying to find something in the style of Blundstones or Redbacks, but cheaper, and these boots basically fit that bill. There are a couple of things that I'm not uber-happy about, though: 1) the way the elastic is set up makes it so that your heel comes up a bit as you walk, and so after wearing them a full day, the back of my heel is raw... 2) I don't know why they stitched those strips of leather over the elastic gore. They look cheesy there. Just let the elastic show! 3) I prefer to have a sole of a different color than the upper (like Dr Martens). The sole of these boots matches the uppers perfectly, so there is no contrast. I just sort of think that makes them not as cool looking as I want them to be... None of these are absolute deal breakers, though, so I'd say these aren't too bad of a buy... EDIT (02/08/2013). I've been wearing these boots all winter (South Bend, Indiana), and I have a few additional comments. 1) they hold up to the weather great. I haven't waterproofed them, but they are pretty water repellent on their own. That's a major plus. 2) About the fit. I've discovered that the fit is greatly improved by wearing thicker-than-normal socks. I bought a few pairs of "boot socks". This prevents the "rubbing" at the back of the heel. 3) These boots look GREAT with dark, boot-cut jeans. The styling has grown on me for this context. They look pretty good with straight-legged dark khakis/chinos (grey, green, brown, black etc.). The key is the boot-cut/straight-leg and the dark color. If you try to wear them with light colored pants and/or with a tapered/relaxed leg, they just look kind of goofy. The cuff of the pant catches on the pull and it looks like you don't know how to put on your pants. The all-black color of the boots really looks bad with light colors (tan khaki's, or light blue jeans). In the right context, however, I now think these boots can look really good, and I'm more happy with my purchase now than I was at first. I've upgraded my revieww from three to four stars! EDIT (06/09/2014). Another year gone, another winter past, and this time, several Arctic Vortexes to boot! These boots held up through all of that. I moved to Pittsburgh, PA, and wore these boots every day this winter. PGH is a great city, but man, do they not take care of their roads and sidewalks! Potholes, loose gravel, ice, salt, ankle-deep puddles! These boots took them all in stride, and kept my feet warm and dry without making me look like a dork or a mountaineering guide. I'm packing up my apartment now, getting ready for a move back down to sunny Phoenix Arizona where I started out two years ago. I picked up these boots, and thought "should I pack these away really deep with all my other winter gear?". Nope. I love these boots so much that I think I'll even wear them in the Arizona "winter"! Even if I have to sweat a little doing it! I'm upgrading my review to four stars!

Super high quality, comfortable yet without the super-high price!
I've worn these ankle boots for about 5 month now and could not be happier! They are easy to slip on without having to mess with laces, zippers or Velcro. Once on, they feel solid and move with my feet. I love the high quality look with 100% real leather uppers. They keep my feet warm in the winter (thicker socks add even more warmth). I love the out-sole made of high-quality, thick rubber. The lugs provide traction over any surface without marking floors. People think I am wearing high-end boots costing well over $300! I rarely advertise I bought these for a fraction of that. They are true to size and I'll definitely be buying more of these!

High quality/ Tight fit for me.
Very nice looking boot. but size is a bit tight. I have 4 pairs of shoes from this maker. All 4 pairs are size 10 and have had a consistent fit. These are a snug fit and you would not be able to wear thick socks in the winter time with these due to this. I would purchase a size up if you plan on wearing winter socks. I will be keeping them for now and hopping they stretch some over time because I love the way they look.

Durable
Going on 4 years and they have held up really well. I wear them about 30% of the time over the course of the year (heavy use in cool/cold weather, light use when warm). Fit great. Comfortable. Look good with jeans and flannel shirt (my go-to in cold weather).

Size up! Not the color indicated
Purchased these in my normal size 9. I have purchased Sketchers in 9 before (my current pair fits great), so I assumed these would fit the same......NOT the case! While I could get them on, they were too short, ramming my heel all the way back. Sketchers are fantastic quality shoes. My slip on "loafer" style are approximately 2 years old and still look like new. I have jumped up a full size to a 10 in a reorder. When the 10s arrived, they were not dark brown but a buck skin color! I read numerous other reviews and saw that many others had the same experience. One guy said he just got out his brown Kiwi polish and that changed the color, so that's what I did. Took care of the obnoxious color and added a layer of additional weather protection.

Solid comfortable boot at. a great price
The boot fit to size and were comfortable the first time I wore them. They seem to be well constructed although I have only worn them a few time so far. The sole thickness is very good. Thicker than some boots that cost a lot more money.

Lovely quality and looked great, just a bit snug for a high instep so had to send back. But that was easy to do.

Absolutely fab pair of boots, well made, very comfortable and a very reliable make. Wouldn't hesitate buying another pair. And have since bought a brown pair.

Very nice pair of boots with leather upper and robust tracks on the bottom. The colour is pretty accurate as the product page, except for the collar / shaft of the boot, which uses a decidedly darker leather on the pair I received. Hopefully it will fade overtime, but regardless, it's the part that is usually covered by the jeans anyways. There is good padding throughout (including the inner sole and the upper part), but incidentally, this also makes the fit so much more snug, and I don't wear socks!!! That said, I have wide feet, and I wish there is a wider fit to choose from. As it is, hopefully overtime, the leather will relax to ease the squeeze. My advice is, if you have wide feet, you may have to go 1/2 size bigger. If you wear socks, especially thick ones, definitely go 1/2 size bigger. If you wear socks and have wide feet, you may need to go a full size bigger.
