Will this work for a 87 Chevy G20 van. Front disc rear drum brakes?

if the brake light switch in the combination valve looks like the same size thread it should work--but you may not even need it if you can bleed the brakes and get good pedal

What do you do if the valve is already pushed to one side? How do you center it?

Look it up on utube it will tell you how to center it.

Will this work on an 89 Jeep Wrangler?

No it is for GM proportioning valves only as i found out after purchasing.

What is this exaclty for? I bled my brakes and while applying pressure the rubber piece on the back side of my stock starting leaking annoeverythingis

It is to keep the proportioning valve set in the center of GM vehicles so that the proportioning valve doesn't send more pressure to front or rear while bleeding. It goes in to the spot where the brake failure switch is in the proportioning valve
