Warm, good stitching, good looks, but a couple of shortcuts were taken that I don't care for
I really like this jacket, and I hate to do it, but I've got to take a star off for conflicting info. Listing info says dry clean, product label says machine wash & iron. Granted one should probably just know not to put even faux leather in a washer, but still, it's a problem.- Dry clean only- Hood unlined but rather thick, warm. A bit synthetic feeling, slightly on the rough side. Simple drawstring closure.- Shoulders are functioning (snap) epaulets (the snap design is good looking!)- 2 front lower pockets, single snap closure, probably adequate.- The single chest pocket with zipper is faux, sadly- 1 inside pocket, unsecured, plenty deep- All zippers are sadly plastic, but big toothed and sturdy enough I guess- Lower hem snap flap over zipper- "Fur" lining all over except arms, VERY soft and warmMy pix show the snap detail, which I think is rather neat, and the contrast piping that's on both the lower pockets.I'm going with 3 stars overall. There's things to like about it, but there are some disappointing shortcuts that just detract. Like plain, frayed-end string for the hood, the faux pocket was a big one for me, and plastic zippers. It looks to be constructed well otherwise, though, and it's quite warm, so it could still be a decent option for some.Don't forget to use the Smile.Amazon.com address - It's an Amazon program where many things you buy every day will generate a small donation to the charity of your choice. Excellent Biker Jacket Looks, Feels And Wears Like Genuine Leather At A Great Price
The Trimthread biker jacket is a well-designed, well-constructed biker jacket which is indistinguishable from the real thing. The styling of the jacket is classic and simple. One zippered chest pocket, two snap button hand pocket, one interior pocket, and buttoned shoulder epaulets. The snaps on the hand pockets have buttons to match the epaulet buttons. The wrists are also zippered which make it easy to close when wearing gloves. All zippers are nylon with metal zipper pulls. The faux Sherpa is very comfortable and does not feel rough as most polyester linings do. It takes a little convincing to accept that it is polyurethane and not really lambskin leather especially since the jacket has the correct weight for a leather jacket. One would think that a polyurethane jacket would be lighter.I do not care for the hoodie or its color, but can appreciate the use for bikers. I also appreciate that the hoodie is removeable.Recommended – great value for a good looking jacket.

For the dreamer motorcycle rider...
It was 88 degrees outside, but Mr Trouble turned on the central air and was still wearing this when I got home. He crazy likes it. He says it is soft inside and almost looks like a motorcycle jacket. The faux leather feels like leather but he says it isn't as hot for those warm summer evening motorcycle rides (as if). Plus he likes it not being real leather. The epaulets are child sized but cute. He likes the hoodie he can put on and off. He says he doesn't need to wear the hoodie under his helmet (as if).He now says he just needs a motorcycle. He claims he wants an Indian. (As if.)

A Little Tight, But Perfect Otherwise
This jacket is warm and stylish, and it's perfect for chilly fall weather. My fiance is 6"1 with broad shoulders, and he wears a Large size for shirts and jackets. He really likes this jacket and plans to wear it regularly, though he finds the Large size a little tight, particularly around the torso and shoulders. It's slightly constricting, and he initially thought he might not be able to zip it up, though this didn't end up being a problem. The jacket looks super attractive and flattering on a guy, and it works for both casual wear and work days alike. In addition to the faux leather material, which keeps out the elements nicely, the jacket has a very soft sherpa lining for added warmth. There's a detachable gray hood that I think looks cute. It has front pockets that can close with a snap, as well as a hidden interior pocket in the lining. All in all, this is a warm, versatile, and very nice looking jacket.

Only $50
Some things:1) It's cut like a size large. I wear a medium in Lucky Brand, Calvin Klein, Banana Republic - the usual suspects. This is cut big and boxy, and very comparable to a large.2) It's not a biker jacket. I know; I ride. Just for fun and to make sure, I tried it and it did exactly what you'd expect: the wind went whistling right into the zipper. Silly. That's why a biker jacket always has a foldover flap, do you can zip it then cover the zipper.3) Nobody will believe this is leather. Nobody. Not even your friend who knows nothing about fashion. It looks, feels, moves, and smells like vinyl. It's not hideous, but it's sure not fooling anyone, either. All of that said, it's also like $50. So if you can get over that it's not actually for riding, and are willing to size down, maybe it'll work for you.

Nice Cut, Looks Great
My oldest son is in love with this coat. He has never owned a "leather" coat before and really thinks that he has transformed his image with this coat. I love that it is not an obvious biker jacket. I was concerned with the biker description, but it is not completely a biker jacket, it is cut in a more conservative style with biker elements. It is classy and can be warn in a lot of situations. The pleather is actually pretty convincing and I like the fleece lining. My son and I agreed that the hood is not great, but it is super easy to remove it, leaving an elegant coat that looks fantastic on him.I got a reviewer jacket, but even at the full current price of $60 this would be a great deal. Highly recommend.
