Sudbury Budded Cross and Ray Monstrance with Luna

Very pleased with this monstrance. It is just the right size for our needs and quite beautiful.

Honestly, this is absolutely gorgeous, and appears to be of very high quality. I am so glad I paid a little more for it. The picture is accurate, but does not really do it justice...in person it is breathtaking.

The hole for the host is too small. The priest cannot use it for exposition of the blessed sacrament. For lack of means to pay for shipping he can’t return the item even if it’s useless for him. Description of the product was not enough to know the size of the hole for the host.

I was hesitating about buying this item due to the reviews. Surprisingly, It is exactly what we needed! The luna is great! It holds a small bread (Holy Eucharist) very nicely (see the pic for size).

It's a bit small. I know the dimensions are given but just surprised how little 9 inches is. It is however seemingly well made, despite being made in China according to the label. It has a velvet pad on bottom of base. Has a nice weight to it. Will only take a communicant sized host, the small ones. We ordered it for our seminary chapel which only seats 30 so is a fine size for that.

I like the monstra but where the Holy host is place is not quite what I would say it being disrespectful. The host is exhibited by screwing it in. It should be a bowl type plate where the consecrated host should go.
