## Description

desertcart.com: Doc Miller Open Toe Compression Socks 15-20 mmHg for Women & Men | Knee High Calf Support Sleeves, Graduated Stockings for Swelling Recovery, Circulation, 1 Pair : Health & Household

Review: Compression Socks - My Doctor recommended that I start wearing compression socks. I have tried a few that friends recommended. They weren't comfortable and very tight. I tried these and am so glad that I did. I did as suggested and when up a size. They are comfortable, wear well and very easy to wash. I got nude and they are very good color. Highly recommend.
Review: This is a very well made sock Ideal if your regular compression socks hurt your toes - I developed varicose veins in one leg and found that by sleeping with my feet slightly elevated and putting on 15-20 compression socks as I get out of bed in the AM. (Apparently it is important to put the socks on as you get out of bed.), my veins improved and the symptoms more or less went away. The doctor suggested 20-30 socks but I found that these cramped my leg muscles when working in the yard. I then found over time that the compression socks with covered toes squished the end of my toes so i looked for a brand of open toes with 15-20 mmhg but these were hard to find.. I tried a few and stumbled on this one. They are very comfortable, they don't fall down and have just the right amount of compression. I found the 20-30mmhg socks the compression made me very aware of the socks and I found mysef focusing on the socks during the day. These 15-20 mmhg socks are just right and very well made. They don't fall down and yet they are not to tight on my calf below the knee. They do give you nice comprehension and feel good energizing your feet and legs.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What are compression socks?**
A: Compression socks apply gentle pressure to legs and ankles, boosting blood flow. They help reduce swelling, ease fatigue, and support circulation, offering comfort for daily use.

**Q: Why are my compression socks painful to wear?**
A: Compression socks shouldn’t cause pain. Discomfort may indicate they’re too tight or overly compressive.

**Q: Why do my compression socks slide down?**
A: If your socks slip, they may be too large or have lost their elasticity over time. As swelling reduces, a smaller size may be needed.

**Q: Why can’t I put on my compression socks?**
A: If the socks won’t go over your foot, they may be too small. Verify the size on the label and remeasure your legs to ensure you’re using the right fit.

**Q: How long should I wear compression socks each day?**
A: Most people can wear compression socks all day but should remove them before bed unless recommended by a healthcare provider. It's best to put them on in the morning when swelling is minimal.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Compression feels good. Quality seems ok. Shipping not good.
*by P***5 on October 22, 2023*

They're fairly easy to get on as they're only knee highs. I use only one to keep ankle swelling down due to a a healing laceration I received in a car crash. They seem ok, it's moderate compression compared to heavy compression I've had for my varicose vein treatments. Can't speak for the quality since I just got them; time will tell. However, I am unhappy how they shipped them. They just slapped a label on the package and shipped them out, they were not even in a shipping envelope. The opening isn't actually sealed, it's just a zip lock opening so not secure.
